Room was brilliant, bar was great, service was largely excellent. Breakfast was the only thing that let it down - service was poor (and somewhat rude) and the quality of the food (both hot and continental buffet) didn’t match the price. This is the third Hotel Du Vin I’ve stayed in around the country, and the first where I’ve left the breakfast disappointed. Would also advise people to avoid visiting Stratford during the Mop Fair, unless having a fun fair directly outside the hotel is what you want.

Great location and very good staff. The room - suite was very tired. Chipped paint, mould / black grouting in shower, towel radiators not working. Needs a good refurb. Disappointed as this was for a special occasion and supposed to be their best category of suite.

This is such a fantastic hotel. The property is very nice - clean, quiet, convenient. What sets it apart however is the fantastic staff. The women at the reception when we arrived was incredibly helpful. She waited outside in the rain to help with a parking spot. The included breakfast was delicious. Miranda went out of her way to prepare a breakfast to bring up to my wife who was running a bit behind schedule. We were able to walk to all of the important areas within the city. Great choice overall.

The room was smart and stylish and a comfortable temperature for sleeping. We were able to leave our bags before and after check-in while we looked around the town. The only downside was parking, there was no space in the adjacent car park so we had to park 10 minutes walk away. We would recommend Hotel du Vin and would be glad to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay @Hotel du vin 👍 Location was perfect for a first time stay in Stratford upon Avon. It was very central and an easy walk into town centre where we planned our sightseeing. Facilities at hotel were great. Worth downloading the Ring-go parking app as bedroom overlooking car park and in close proximity. We didn’t use the car for the duration of our 2 night stay. Staff were excellent and happy to help - including assisting my sister with breakfast options to take back to room when I was unfortunately not feeling well on morning of departure. We will definitely consider a return to hotel for a future visit as we missed out on a couple of historical landmarks!!

Hotel du vin for the win

Love this hotel and the room we stayed in was fantastic with a balcony parking was fine paid on the app as everything was within walking distance breakfast is amazing
