Good location and easy parking and entrance to the rooms. The head board on Both Beds was coverd with dust and obviuosly not dusted that day. The air conditioner was extremly noisy when starting up and lasted about 2 mins each time it started before it calmed down thus waking us during the night. The rooms were somewhat small and dated and the toilet paper roll holder was broken. I prefer taller height toliets and it would be nice to have some rooms with taller toilets. Otherwise it was fine.

This hotel was average. Due to limited staffing, rooms are not cleaned every day unless you request that. This needs to be communicated before someone books the hotel. There were also mattresses left in the hallway, which cut back on the asthetics. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a variety of healthy food options. There is a playground, (making it ideal for families with kids), an outdoor seating area, a walking trail. Be advised that the hotel l is on a very steep hill.

Disappointed and let down – $400 lost due to infle

We had booked a superior room at Best Western Plus Waterbury – Stowe for July 26th, but due to an immigration-related border issue, we couldn’t cross into the U.S. I immediately contacted Hotels.com and explained the situation in good faith, hoping for flexibility. Despite multiple attempts to resolve it, the hotel refused any kind of refund, credit, or even a partial reimbursement for the $400 stay. I understand cancellation policies exist, but in 2025, customer service should account for legitimate, unavoidable circumstances—especially for international travelers who want to return. This lack of understanding and refusal to offer even a future stay credit was deeply disappointing. We were regular travelers to Vermont and had planned to return, but sadly, we’ll be avoiding this hotel—and likely recommending our Canadian friends do the same. Losing $400 may mean nothing to them, but for us, it was a frustrating and disheartening experience.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast is provided, which is appreciated. The hotel does not allow for early checkin (2:30 pm as with my experience) unless one pays a 25 dollar fee. Parking is plentiful. Hotel is close to several restaurants in Waterbury. I was offered a room that allows pets or a pet free room. I was very grateful to have a pet free room. Staff were helpful.
