Check in was a breeze on the automatic machine. We actually like not having windows in our room, made it easier to sleep. The location is very convenient next to the metro station and the lobby is cool. Only downside was all the construction right outside the front of the hotel.

Terrific location. Walking distance to Galla Stan. Nearby neighborhood in Soedermalm was great too. We stayed in a room without a window, but it wasn’t strange at all. The lighting was good. Appreciated the phone chargers shelves in the bunkbeds. The beds were soft. The whole hotel was quiet despite being next to a construction project. The lounge was simple but functional. The staff was great about letting us get an early check in which we loved. Only complaint is that the shower half wall doesn’t do a great job containing shower splash. I would def stay here again.

Became a city box friend so I could have a later check out on my room but it obviously didn’t work because the staff opened the door 2 hours early while I was in bed 😬👍

Solid one night stay

Little trouble checking in bc I hadn’t seen the email from the property. Note to check in you will need the booking reference that the property provides via email (the day of), not the reference from hotels.com. Once in everything else was fine. Clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

I couldn't quite get used to being in a windowless room in the basement of an office building. Claustrophobic sort of describes it, but there's also the feeling of limited egress in an emergency. The "hotel" has no services to speak of, except a vending machine coffee maker in the lobby and a staff member on duty in case there's a problem. The premises are new, and so are clean, but rooms aren't cleaned/tidied during your stay. If you're on a very strict budget and only want a bed to sleep in, Citybox is an option, but you get what you pay for.

The room without a window was a bit stuffy. There was very loud music played throughout the night that I could hear through the walls, as well as construction (jack hammers & forklifts, etc,) early in the morning. Not a quiet stay.

The location was fantastic, very close to the train station. 5 minute walk to the touristy part which was great. Our bathroom flooded on the second day. Went to the front desk and explained, within a matter of minutes we were moved. Clean hotel and easy check in and check out process. Thank you

I would say it’s excellent. Super centre prime location in the city . Convenient to go around . New and clean, well equipped in the common area , nice vibes. Friendly and helpful staff . The rooms are well designed, stylish and functional. Impressive shower , only thing is the room temperature was a bit tricky to monitor and no heating in bathroom. Overall it’s not cold so it doesn’t bother me. There’s a construction site right outside I’m glad to stay in the basement with no windows actually. I hope that’s temporary ill definitely choose Citybox again when I visit Stockholm again.

Will definitely return!

This is the third time I stay in here, and this was again a brilliant stay. The rooms are tidy and modern - the cheaper ones no not have windows / TV and it can get a little warm at times but there is an air conditioning unit which I believe will be on full force during warmer months. Even if you visit for a longer time, there’s no need to pack extensively as there are laundry facilities for a small charge. People at the host office are the kindest and they were very flexible with everything. Thank you so much!
