I often stay at the CityBox brand, this was my first time at the Stockholm location. Very well located, directly across the street from Slussen metro station, which is one or two stops from T-centralen, the main train station where the airport train also arrives. Walking distance to Gamla Stan, Mariatorget atea and the ferry stop to Skansen. This CityBox location mostly has rooms without windows, which when I was initially booking, I didn’t think would be a big deal to me. In reality, the room was pitch black when all the lights were off, and it was quite disorienting when waking up. It would have been nice to have either a television in the room to have some sort of daylight visual or a dim “night” light at floor level would also be helpful. The room was very clean, generally comfortable and well sized, and although the twin beds were comfortable, they were extremely narrow (especially by North American standards). We stayed five nights but didn’t get any housekeeping. Not sure if there was an option beyond getting fresh towels from reception. Excellent bathroom, great shower water pressure. Rooftop restaurant and bar/cafe were lovely to visit. I would happily stay here again, though I would reconsider the windowless room next time.

This property would be best for a quick business trip. Though the price was reasonable, the area was less than desirable. The entrance was in alley that wasn't kept up. Vomit and dog droppings were lining the way. We didn't see any staff to help direct us. The rooms were clean which was appreciated.

the worse thing is the hotel (let's call it a 'hotel') does NOT provide you with a safe wifi connectivity, then, I got a virus in my computer. I had to spend invaluable HOURS with my IT technician back in South Africa for him to see what was going on with my machine, which was, indeed, infected. Cheap which turned out to be expensive. As usual in these sites that promise you everything for nothing. NEVER AGAIN, NOT THE CITY BOX NEITHER YOU EXPEDIA GUYS

Very low on amenities. Hard to turn off dimmer lights, get paper out of the toilet dispenser, use shower, etc. there was a Charge for coffee and no tea making facility. Room without a window was okay and room was large. Surrounding neighborhood was great - more residential than the city center.

This hotel is located in a perfect location, so close to the tunnelbana, bus stops and ferries. I enjoyed being so close to Gamla Stan and being able to stop back at my hotel room in between activities. The room was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was also glad to have access to the luggage room as I arrived much earlier than check in time. The staff were very friendly and I was offered extra towels whenever I would see a staff member in the hallway. The room is very basic but it was very clean and provided the perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

Room is very quiet. No windows and below ground level. It is somewhat of a maze to find your room. My biggest complaint is lack of information on luggage storage when you arrive. Host is "hidden" and it took a while to find where the office was. A sign on luggage door encouraged me to scan and pay. It turns out this is for insurance, not to store luggage. The kiosk was no help in getting me a key to storage room. I finally tracked down host and got key. Once you get inside the storage room, there is a sign that says storage is free. But until you get to that point, it appears you must pay. Very frustrating. A little more signage on where host is and that storage is free (outside of the locked door) would go a long way.

The good things were location and cleanliness. But I did not enjoy my stay because you can hear people in the hallway and other rooms quite clearly. Without earplugs you would be kept up from doors ect. One of the worse hotels I’ve been in for soundproofing.
