Enjoyed our stay!

The cabin was warm and cozy. Very clean and well-stocked. Plenty of parking. It was perfect for our visit to Killington Resort. Matt was very accommodating, responded promptly, and provided all of the details we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Our host was fantastic...lots of good, clear communication and very responsive. The house was great, very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was perfect. Would definitely return.

Had an amazing 3 night stay. We were two families 4 adults and 3 kids. The layout of the cabin was perfect, we never felt cramped or on top of each other. Everything was exceptionally clean and welcoming when we arrived. The hot tub was a nice bonus! Matt was an exceptional host and was in contact with me a few days prior to check in. He was readily available throughout our stay to answer any questions. The cabin is perfectly located near one of the best general stores and 15 min from Pico. If you are looking for a cozy, clean and centrally located place to stay in the Killington area, I highly recommend checking out this cabin!

Lovely cabin!

Great cabin for a group of friends or a family. The deck is beautiful and has an amazing view of the green mountains. We’d love to return!

Had an amazing time at this place. The owner was easily available and very prompt with replies. The owner took great lengths to make our stay comfortable with lots of extra supplies and detail to what guests would enjoy. The area was safe and peaceful. Everything was in good working condition. The only thing we would recommend is to update the photos as they appear to have been taken many years ago. The place has plenty of room for any family size to enjoy.

Great communication by the owner Matt. Conveniently located right of the main rd and 25 minutes from Killington ski area. Hot tub was fantastic! Wi-Fi was strong and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner.

Family trip

Had lots of activitys with in an hour. Owner was super easy to talk to and get a hold of. Hot tub was fantastic! The beds were really comfortable.A little too close to the main road but that made it convenient to get places.

The home was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. My only (very minor) criticism would be the air conditioner doesn’t cool the whole house, as the listing says. But that was a minor issue and didn’t detract from an otherwise great stay.

Fantastic Vermont retreat!

This property is stunning! Beautiful view and comfortable house to stay with family or friends. The yard and deck provided a great setting to spend our long weekend. So lovely in the spring, I can’t even imagine how gorgeous this place is in the fall! Easy communication with our hosts. The place was fully clean and comfortable.

Cabin cozy with basic comforts

We were there enjoying Killington Ski Resort which was close by. Very clean and had a great jacuzzi! We snowshoed to the river and ended the great sandwiches at the Pittsfield Market. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Road noise was a bit much as the walls were not insulated to keep the truck noise out and some extra kitchen items would have been helpful to have like measuring cups, bakeware, colander , and aluminum foil or plastic microwaveable items. Just bring your own if you plan on cooking. We hope to be back soon! You will love it!

Loved this cabin!

Wow! We loved our week at this cabin. I wish that I could bottle up all of my positive emotions and radiate them through the review. I read some of the other reviews and was saddened that they criticized the rustic charm of the cabin. It is a cabin. It is not a modern, dressed up home. Nonetheless, the host has done a great job of stocking the home and furnishing it in such a way that it is comfortable and homey. The listing even provides accurate disclaimers about the stairs. Our time at this cabin was exactly what we were hoping for, and we will treasure the memory of our week there. We also loved all of our nearby, fun activities and are grateful to the host for his communication and responsiveness.

If you are booking this because of the pictures, you will not be disappointed at all!! Literally the most beautiful mountain view and stars for miles at night. So cute and quaint, perfect getaway for a week! Very clean when we got there, loved that there were 2 full bathrooms even though there were just 2 of us.. loved the washer and dryer and the hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking… everything was stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms, clean sheets and towels, the grounds outside very well kept as well… the property manager Matt was literally amazing, responded so quickly every single time and gave us some awesome recommendations for restaurants as well… the town itself is so cute and not really that far from everything else, maybe an hour… you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere because it’s so quiet and your views are all mountains, the wood fireplace was great and so relaxing to use at night and we did use the outdoor grill as well which was nice to have… definitely plenty of plates and dishes in the kitchen… I was surprising my boyfriend with this trip for his birthday and they even decorated with balloons and a banner, this is one of the nicest and cutest places I’ve stayed, if you want a moutain get away with amazing views, close to great restaurants, gorgeous hiking trails, definitely stay here… I will definitely stay here again, would recommend this to everyone I know and you really can’t beat the price, better than any hotel!!!

Had a great time!

There were 6 of us all together. We had a pleasant stay. We were less than an hour away from several different mountains. The owner was easy to get ahold of and very responsive. The only things that kept me from giving an excellent rating were: 1) The kitchen was poorly stocked with adequate cookware and utensils. 2) the oven/range was in pretty poor shape (but functional) 3) The surrounding area was vaguely described...we were told there were two stores within 2 miles, but both were closed by 5-6 pm. Anything open later was 25+ minutes away. Mainly an inconvenience, but it would have been nice to know, so we could have planned accordingly before we got there.

Quaint older home

This home grew on us as our week went by. In first glance when we arrived, we were slightly thrown by some of the uniqueness of an older home (low ceiling in the stairs, small kitchen) but as the week went on, we found it to be a comfortable home with everything we needed. It was very clean, had an incredible back yard view, great master bedroom, and functional enough kitchen. We didn’t cook at the house at all and likely would have found that difficult just based on the size but it had what we needed. We also ran low on hot water when multiple people took showers back to back but we managed and it was fine. Just something to keep in mind. All in all, good rental! The view was phenomenal and Matt was super helpful!

Awsome location

This place is a hidden gem. Great location. Brand new hot tub, fire pit, comfy king size bed. Highly recommend Long Trail Brewery, Kayak Chittenden reservoir and adding the hike to Lefferts pond, hiking also Thumdering brook falls is a must. If you are up to driving north to Burlington the Island line rail trail was truly a great experience. Thank you for communicating so well with us. We will be back

Perfect Winter Getaway

We stayed at this cabin for a winter getaway and WOW, was it absolutely perfect. The house was spotless on arrival and easy to navigate. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookware, cutlery, and glassware and we enjoyed the smart TV and board games that were in the house. The beds were also comfortable. The highlight of the house was definitely the hot tub, which was very clean and the perfect temperature. The views of the mountains and trees from the backyard were breathtaking and serene. The house was private but also close to many restaurants, bars, and activities we planned. We recommend checking out the Killington Distillery- Still on the Mountain, Long Trail Brewing Company, and Pickle Barrel Nightclub for live music and a fun atmosphere. We booked a snowmobile tour with Snowmobile Vermont and also rode the K-1 Express Gondola up to the Peak Lodge in Killington, which was accessible to non-skiers, like ourselves. On our way out, we visited Maple Sugar and Vermont Spice for brunch. All of these activities were a quick drive away, within 20 minutes of the house! Lastly, our host Matthew was extremely responsive and answered any questions we had in a timely fashion. We recommend this rental to everyone and look forward to staying here again!

Great Ski House

House was very clean and well equipped for our stay. We had a great two days of skiing at killington which is a very short drive. Hot tub was great!
