We had requested a twin room. Instead, two cisgender guys 6' and 200 lbs+ snuggled up in a double bed. Can't blame that on Expedia, but the conditions that the hotel itself set. Window was inoperable, but they did bring us a swamp cooler with ice. We had dinner and breakfast there. both were good. The girl at the front desk and the manager did try to change the room when we got there, but were unable. They just kept showing us the fine print where it says "as available".

very basic rooms - more like a college for than a hotel. staff not overly friendly which was surprising. couldn’t get in restaurant even for an early dinner on first night without reservation. Biggest disappointment was pool closed for maintenance and not easy to see that through expedia booking. thankfully - expedia customer service called the hotel and we were refunded. found a great vrbo instead.

The hotel had not received our booking and said hotel was fully booked. We were put in one of the suits, so thought the stay would be amazing, but if this is one of the best rooms in the hotel... well I wouldnt want to see the other rooms. The rooms were tired and dated, only good thing about it was that it was clean. It got extremely hot in the rooms, we were staying with a 4 month old and he was just in his nappy and still struggled with the heat. Had to put him in pram and walk the corridors to get him sleeping as the corridors were cooler. Toilet felt like it was going to come off the wall, and was a big crack running along where it was attached. Had friends who stayed at the hotel that had made reservations in the restaurant, but it was lost in the system and since it was fully booked they couldnt get a table. Just feels like the hotel has so much potential, but falls short in standard, and staff seems very inexperienced.

Great location. Staff helpful, friendly. The rooms are fine. Fairly basic. It’s basic clean: Could use a deep clean especially bathroom and skirtings… a bit grubby in places. I’d definitely stay again. Nothing too significant would prevent a comfortable stay..

Great stay. Do not sleep on the breakfast buffet add on. Very worth it. Can’t beat this place for the price in Sterling from what I’ve seen so far. Only note is that the rooms get a bit toasty. It didn’t bother me too much and I think you can ask for a fan at front desk if you need.
