A Beautiful Getaway

The property is perfectly located just off the beautiful Kenai River in Sterling, Alaska. The cabin is spacious and has all the amenities you need for a long or short stay (x2 beds, laundry, extra freezer for fish, new appliances, TV, wifi, car port, full kitchen, beautiful deck with a view). Communication with owners was easy and quick. Highly recommend. Will stay again!

Amazing Home and Location

After spending time at a “cabin” near the Kenai river where the description was misleading at best, this felt 5 star. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. I love that the firewood was bountiful and the home had all major appliances. The beds were super comfortable and it was a treat to have a nice bathroom. The shower was like those you get in a fancy 5 star resort. I will book this again!

These cabins are centrally located in between the best fishing that the Kenai has to offer. We enjoyed our stay. It was great to have a place to relax after a full day of fishing. We will definitely be back next year.

Very cozy and well maintained property. Has the feel of an Alaskan cabin with the amenities of a modern rental. Well stocked kitchen. A few improvements would include black out shades (or provide sleeping masks) in the bedrooms and more glasses in the kitchen cabinet.

Perfect setting for our journey through the Kenai Peninsula

My family and I (2 adults and 2 teenaged boys) stayed at this property for 3 nights in the middle leg of our loop of the Kenai Peninsula. We spent a full day fishing the river with a guide (Mark at Kenai Cowboys was awesome!) and another day hiking. Of the 5 places we stayed throughout our trip, this was by far our favorite. Beautiful property, reminded us of the Adirondacks (Northern NY State) which is near our home. All the amenities we could want. Very clean. Really a wonderful place. My only very small ding is that I reached out by text to the property manager with a quick question and never heard back. Highly recommend this property if you plan to fish the river - very centrally located but away from the traffic of Soldoltna.

One of the BEST VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed at

Incredible place to stay in the perfect location. Views of the Kenai River with easy access to go fish and catch “the one.” The property manager was fantastic and responded right away with any questions we had. This place has everything and more you could need during your stay. They really thought out everything in terms of design and amenities. Can’t wait to get back up there and stay in this beautiful place once again. The perfect spot to have as base during your dream fishing trip. Thank you.
