Cabaña High Ridge en las montañas Blue Ridge

Esta cabaña de estilo de registro y piedra se encuentra en lo alto de las montañas Blue Ridge a una altitud de aproximadamente 3,000 pies. Está en la misma área que el Bosque Nacional Shenandoah y esta propiedad limita con la tierra del parque. No encontrará una cabaña más privada o montañosa para quedarse que esta. No verá a otro ser humano durante media milla en cualquier dirección, ¡pero verá muchos ciervos, osos y vida salvaje! Dentro de la cabina, encontrará amplias salas de estar, cómodas habitaciones, una cocina completamente equipada y grandes televisores de alta definición.

Recientemente hemos trabajado para llenar la hermosa área al aire libre junto a la cabaña con una gran fogata, leña gratis (apilada y lista para ti, mira las fotos) y bañera de hidromasaje. Esta área de patio tiene hermosas vistas de la naturaleza.

Esta cabaña se encuentra "arriba de Tanner's Ridge" como dicen los lugareños. En las imágenes, verá dos imágenes que muestran los hermosos miradores y montañas que ve mientras conduce hacia y desde la cabina. Querrás detenerte y obtener tus propias fotos en el disco.

Had a wonderful and peaceful Anniversary vacation. The booking, to checking in and out was all very easy. Once you leave the main paved road, it's a slow, dusty drive, but it's worth it when you reach the end. Very secluded and quiet with wonderful views. The sunrise over the mountains is worth seeing every morning. The cabin had everything that is needed so you only need to bring your personal belongings that you want. The wi-fi at the cabin is very spotty and you often loose connection driving from the cabin to town and vice-versa. Other than that, we enjoyed out stay and are considering coming again.

A true hidden gem in the mountains!! In a pretty remote area, but it had just enough modern touches to make it feel like home away from home. We sat outside for hours just listening to the sounds of the mountain, and bear watching. We made some memories we'll hold onto forever here.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

Great place. Secluded, quiet but comfortable. Breathtaking views. Be warned, the road leading up to the cabin is no joke. If there is any bad weather be very cautious but the road would not prevent me from renting this place again. Highly highly recommend.

Great Mountain Getaway

We needed a little get away from the hustle and bustle of working full time jobs and being full time caregivers to my parents. This was the perfect, secluded, getaway that we needed. Relaxation and comfort! This cabin had everything we needed with the modern accommodations we are accustomed to. We would book it again!

Great remote location with all the comforts of home

We booked last-minute for a relaxing weekend away, and this property did not disappoint. No problem finding the place with Waze, but there is no service for the last several miles - and we definitely made sure to pull up the navigation on Wifi before leaving the cabin so we could find our way out. We had complete privacy for our June stay with the leaves from the trees blocking the view of the distant neighbors. The hot tub was glorious after a long day of hiking in the Shenandoah. We absolutely loved our stay here - would definitely visit again.

Snowed In

The property was beautiful and looked exactly as it appeared in the description. It had nice new appliances and everything was nice and clean. It took us a while to figure out how to work the fireplace, but once we did the cabin was nice and toasty. The only downfall was that the hot tub was not working and available and that was what we were both looking forward to using. However, we enjoyed ourselves and this was a memorable experience. The views were gorgeous! We would live to have another visit here.

AWESOME Cabin!

The cabin was even better than expected. It was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. The highest praise, however, goes to management for their excellent communication. I'm so glad they gave us written directions becasue we lost cell coverage before we reached the top and could never have found it without their help.

Weekend Getaway

Came here for a weekend away during peak foliage. Beautiful secluded cabin. Kitchen very modern which was ideal as there isn’t much close by (>20min). Hour drive to gorgeous hikes (we did Big Schloss). Hot tub was a great touch. Will definitely be back

High up away in the mountains

The last paved road up to the cabin is steep. The gravel road to get to cabin is a lot of fun to drive with 4wd. House is set away in the woods. Coffee, kitchen utensils, filtered water and i e machine (fridge) where stocked and I’m working order. Even had a crockpot. Used the hot tub. Nice way to ease into the morning. Was hoping to see wildlife, but was treated to nice views of the surroundings. In fall watch out for falling acorns.

Amazing property

My husband and I went away to celebrate our birthday. First impression, the grounds surrounding the property is absolutely stunning. The cabin is gorgeous. The newly remodeled kitchen was not only beautifully done, it had everything we needed for the weekend. We had our dog with us so the seclusion was perfect. We didn't see anyone all weekend. The hot tub never really got hot. The colder weather at night was horrible for getting out of a cold hot tub. We were rained in for 2 days and tried to play movies but there was a parental guidance password so the DVDs were out of the question. Gave us a lot of time to unwind inside. Overall it was a beautiful weekend.

Great little place with some drawbacks

The stay was very comfortable and the place was very clean and private. A couple of things that weren’t the best was the lack of any cell service and subpar Wi-Fi speed. We had to reset the router a couple of times during our stay because the internet stopped working. The location isn’t bad but even though it is listed as minutes from Shenandoah NP it really is an hour from either entrance and most hikes within the park. Overall I would recommend it but with some caveats.

Quiet cabin in the woods

We loved the remote setting of this little cabin. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was so welcoming! A large room air conditioner kept shared spaces AND the two bedrooms very comfortable. (There we’re also fans in the bedrooms but they weren’t necessary.) Kitchen was well equipped. The instructions for checking in, and directions to the cabin, were perfect. We didn’t have great weather so weren’t able to explore but we enjoyed it anyway!

A great getaway

A clean, well maintained property with everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Everything was in working order and our kids loved the feeling of being in the outdoors without really roughing it. It has privacy and a great view. If you want to go for a hike in the Shenandoah and then spend the evening grilling, sit around the fire pit, and then finish it off with a family movie night before bed, this is the place.

Great quiet time away with family.

Had an amazing time disconnecting from normal rushing around and just enjoying our family. We loved the quiet, private, and cozy cabin. The kids (9 & 11) had an amazing time playing board games, doing puzzles, and enjoying the hot tub with mom and dad. It was perfect for our family.

Peaceful forest

I was looking for a very secluded cabin in the forest with a hot tub fire pit fireplace that allowed our small dog and had a kitchen. We got all of that it was extremely peaceful and relaxing we are very close to Shenandoah national Park Luray Caverns and horseback riding. If you’re looking for seclusion serenity and peace this is your place if you’re looking for something fancy this is not your place it is a very rustic cabin which for us is what I was seeking. I think some improvements could be made like new bed linens the kids his beds had pills on the sheets there weren’t very many pots and pans which was important for me because it was Thanksgiving and we were cooking plus you’re very secluded and it would be very easy to get snowed in therefore you can’t just run to a restaurant or fast food place for food. We also only had five towels for five people to shower and use the hot tub however the day we were leaving I was checking the dryer to make sure my kids didn’t put any toys in there and there was a load of towels in there I believe I could have called and easily gotten more towels but we may do it would’ve just been nice if there was more available upon arrival it would’ve also been nice if there was more firewood for the fire pit outside and like I mentioned I could’ve easily called and asked I just didn’t want to be a inconvenience and we may due

Veterans weekend

Very remote and quiet. Road going back was an improved secondary road but was maintained and very manageable. Strongly suggest to use a truck or SUV. Excellent communication with the property manager and instructions were clear and precise. Property was clean and maintained .

Loved the quiet location, property manager was amazing. There was hardly any wood on arrival but that was quickly remedied... A few things were disappointing, the hot tubs Jets do not function at all and that was kind of the tiebreaker in us booking here. Kind of misleading in the listing, considering others in guest book also noted this. The phone rang all hours of day n night with telemarketers. Really disappointed about the hot tub though.

Cute secluded cabin for a relaxing and peaceful stay

The cabin overall was great. We really enjoyed our stay here. We used the hot tub and fire pit every evening we were there. There are a few things that need attention though that I hope the owner will take as constructive criticism as we really liked it here and would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the area for another visit. 1) The bugs find a way inside...there was one morning I was sitting on the couch and watched a stink bug come in from one of the door crevices...all doors and windows need to be checked and sealed properly. Everyday when we came back to the cabin from being out and about, we spent a few minutes removing the bugs from inside the cabin. 2) There were layers of dust on the light fixtures, and blinds in the bathroom and bedrooms. Also, there were a lot of spider webs and dead bugs in the bathroom windows. Honestly the place could use a good deep cleaning from top to bottom. For the price we paid to stay here for the week, it would be nice if the place was a lot cleaner. We know the instructions said to call the housekeeper for any issues, but we tidied up in the areas we spent the most of our time and were comfortable enough to not bother anyone.
