Getting to our room was very inconvenient since you could not get to an elevator till you climbed 2 flights of stairs & mold & poor condition of Tub (matt in tub to try and cover damage). No soap to wash hands provided. Staff was not pleasant & helpfull Breakfast was not adequately supplied. Questionable people hanging out in parking lot.

The ongoing renovation is more cosmetic than substantive. Think new carpet and paint. They are using the lowest bidder and it shows. Poor job maaking for paint. Electrical outlet hanging out of the wall. Bathroom door won't close because they painted the door and the door frame and they rub together. Tub faucet waa not attached correctly. Toilet was mounted at about a 15° angle from the wall. I suspect they broke the flange and were roo lazy to replace it. Sink was a residential pedestal that you might find in a half bath setup. No counter space whatsoever. Floor was not level so the dresser drawers kept sliding out. Ice machine only worked on one floor. One of the two elevators did not work. Despite these things, the room was clean. Staff was friendly. Again, they are clearly using a contractor that doesn’t care much about quality.

The only reason there aren’t bedbugs is because even bedbugs have standards. I love La Quinta properties and seek them out, but this property doesn’t deserve to be called a La Quinta. Blood on the bed, lamp painted into the wall, first floor construction with no air condition in the lobby, sketchy area, have to go up stairs to get to the elevator. Overall, at the very least this place should be discounted but spare yourself.

Room and restroom was clean. Breakfast was fine. Breakfast areas need ventilation. There is just one entrance and no windows. Moment you enter you can sense the smell. I pity the lady working hard to make sure breakfast food is filled. I can clearly see she was gasping air. She may not work for long time in that area. She will suffer from respiratory issues. While working there it is better she uses mask. I can clearly see she has started suffering due to no windows for air ventilation in Breakfast area.

Trip Break in Stamford

We were a couple breaking a long drive overnight in Stamford. Cost, registration and checkout were easily accomplished. The Stamford Diner on the property had excellent food. That was a plus. Worst feature was two small sets of steps to gain access to the elevators. Difficult to negotiate with luggage and when you are elderly. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was damp and had a funny smell, they were doing construction on the rooms across from me. Was there from Wednesday to Sunday and not one time did my room get attended to, no change of towels, my garbage cans were full…. Ice machine was in next floor and had water leaking all over from it, yes I told the staff…. They put a tiny bucket which was overflowing. also two doors down someone had a dog that was barking 8am in the morning…. The pool which was main reason I picked this hotel it was indoors, down for maintenance the whole time. I would not recommend this hotel and which I could get a refund for the inconvenience. Was not worth the price I paid. Disappointed!
