Welcome to 419 Beach Drive! This lovely island home is located 1/10 of a mile from the largest beach area on the island, adjacent to the King and Prince Resort. The spacious 2900 sq ft home is a perfect blend of artistic flair and group comfort. It comfortably accommodates 9 guests, with extra beds for family convenience.
The location is arguably one of the best on the island with a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach–easy for “hold my drink while I run back to the house for a minute!” You’re 2-3 blocks from the most popular restaurants, bars and resorts making it easy to enjoy the best meals, happy hours and live music. Across the street is a small park/greenspace. The pier village is a ¾ of a mile city walk or short bike ride. Great, peaceful neighborhood, yet close to everything you need, and things you didn’t even know you needed!
Guests are greeted with a spacious, private, paved, bohemian-style outdoor space surrounded by a stucco wall enclosure (completed 2025) There are a variety of thoughtfully placed seating areas in and around the front and back patios and covered porch areas. Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, a hammock chair, patio table and chairs make this outside space an exceptional standout among vacation homes for large groups. At night, patio lights illuminate the spaces creating an enchanting ambience to enjoy that evening beverage under the stars and near the surf.
Enter the home via the covered front porch and step into an artfully designed and charming open-flowing space. The dining room features a grand farm table with seating for 12+. The fully renovated kitchen has lovely granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a coffee bar with drip, Keurig, and Nescafe makers. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, toaster, convection oven, microwave, crockpot, stockpot and more. Completing the space is the spacious den with two large, plush sofas, 2 chairs and an additional dining/gaming table with 6 chairs for an additional dining option and/or group board games and puzzles. A large TV over the mantel makes for memorable movie nights with space for everyone. The area comfortably accommodates large groups enjoying relaxing time with family and friends. The utility room with the washer and dryer is off the kitchen/den area.
The first King suite is on the main level and is a lovely private space to sleep and relax. This suite includes a TV viewing area with two comfortable chairs, a large desk for working remotely and a newly remodeled ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower.
Upstairs you’ll find a second light-filled King suite with yet another den (twin daybed/desk/TV) for privacy and comfort. Leading from there is yet another small bedroom with two twin beds. This is a perfect “family suite” for families with young children or when you just need a couple of more beds–it’s three connected rooms–a very large, flexible space. This area is served by a large private bathroom centered around a massive soaking tub with a hand-held spray, two separate pedestal sinks and full-length mirror storage cabinets.
There are two more cozy bedrooms upstairs–one with a king bed, chair, dresser and TV and the other a delightfully bohemian-insoried queen bed. The full bath with a new walk-in shower is off the hall area and serves both of these bedrooms.
The location, amount of comfortable interior space, and unique, private outdoor relaxing areas make this island home an exceptional standout for a perfect St Simons Island vacation.
