Toxic and unhealthy. We booked two rooms with kitchenettes and arrived after office hours. Our room information was in an unsealed envelope. There was only about 10 parking spaces, but unlit unsecure overflow parking was across the 5 lane busy street and the closest crosswalk was about 1 block. Our room was between two walkways with people waling right past our room. entering the room we were overwhelmed by the smell of mold, mildew and some toxic smelling chemical cleaner. there was no "kitchenette", but a old unplugged microwave sitting on an old dorm room fridge. The bathroom was so small that the sink obstructed the toilet. The Shower was nasty and glass bricks with the coatings scrapped off allowing people to look directly into your shower/bathroom! The curtains didn't close completely letting people look into your room. All the windows were sealed shut by? corrosion? We had to book rooms at another hotel because of the smell that made both groups sick and would have sent us to the hospital if we had stayed. Don't stay here , the place is a dump! Travelocity was very helpful in getting us rooms at a nearby hotel, although not on the beach and more expensive. You have been warned.

This is a slightly older, but updated 2 story motel. There is no elevator-keep this in mind. The pool was heated. The outside & inside seemed clean. The kitchen area was split in 2 areas with the bathroom (very small) between them. The 2nd kitchen area had a hanging rod for clothes. Bring some clips for the curtains because they blow open when the AC is on. Parking is across a busy street (but free). Several dining choices in walking distance. Plenty of hot water in shower. Great location right on the beach. Nice people.

We appreciate your comments on your stay. Just a side note, we do have parking in front of the hotel but not enough for the entire hotel. We offer our large parking lot across the street as well. As always we do not charge for parking unlike all the other hotels on the beach - Chuck

It's an old hotel and is showing it's age. Cleanliness of the room was not good. There may be a cockroach/palmetto bug problem. There was 1 dead in the closet upon check in and had 3 sightings of live ones in the bathrrom that escaped under the sink cabinet.

We appreciate your comments. In Florida we experience palmetto bugs on occasion. We have an aggressive pest control program in place and have since addressed the issue. Chuck

Pros: Beautiful beach, nice pool and patio with rocking chairs on patio by the dunes with beach view. Two showers to wash feet and rinse off saltwater. Plenty of nice grills to cook steaks but make sure you bring charcoal and your own matches, chimney lighter or lighter fluid. They aren't gas grills! Winn-Dixie and Dollar Tree nearby (about 4 blocks) Cons: Noisy air conditioner, and crazy people upstairs stomping around all day and night for the 2 nights we were there.

Gorgeous beach and sunset. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Squeaky clean room and very comfortable beds and pillows. Parking in a beach town is what it is. The over flow lot was handy in a pinch.
