We really enjoyed our stay at Palm Court Motel. I'm not a motel type person and though this is a motel (rooms doors leading to outside), this has a more charming and upscale feel. We stayed in a suite with a little kitchenette and small dining area so it almost felt like we were at our own private AirBnB. We loved the pool (standard pool but literally just outside the room door so easy to get to especially with small kids), and the owners offer pool toys, pool floats, etc. for no fee. We also were able to grill out by the pool one night and they owners offered all the grill items (pans, tongs, foil, etc) for free. The owners were very nice and accommodating and it felt good spending our money at a private business rather than large chain hotels. The rooms were very clean. I saw reviews that the beds were not comfortable-that would depend on what you like obviously. I like a firmer mattress and I felt like the beds were super comfy. This motel is right down the street from the causeway leading to Honeymoon island. Unfortunately we couldn't go there due to red tide but we did venture down to Clearwater Beach which wasn't far. Overall we did enjoy our stay very much and will return. The price was more than fair for what was offered and all the little extras made it seem totally worth it.

We highly recommend this property. How many hotels much, less motels walk you to your room for check-in! Pool was awesome. Everything Very clean. Complimentary bikes, beach chairs, etc... a grill. Lots of extras! Thank you for a nice getaway.

Very cute and well-kept Old Florida motel. Rooms are small but clean. Pool area and pool are immaculate. Owners are very kind.

It May look dated as you drive by, but the rooms are bright and decorated nicely. Very clean as well. The owner was friendly and gave us a nice tour of the property and amenities. Would highly recommend!

Room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. As for negatives, I thought the price was too high, and the parking was the worst I have ever seen. You have to parallel park, and there are not enough spaces for the rooms. Very easy to get blocked in so you can't get out. Also too easy to get your vehicle damaged on brick support posts.

Terrific value

Pros: Loved the quaintness and friendliness of staff
Cons: The mattress could be a little better/more comfortable and the shades could darken the room better, or add drapes.
Location: Terrific location near Dunedin beach and downtown
We had a terrific time. This was our first time staying in a hotel in the area - we usually stay with family. The Palm Court is a delightful little place with a friendly staff and very clean rooms.

Nice local place to stay

Pros: The location was great, the Pinellas Trail across the street was convenient, having access to bikes, coolers, towels, etc was very handy.
Location: Close to the Pinellas trail, Honeymoon beach, downtown Dunedin, farmers market on Fri/Saturday.
My husband and I spent a long weekend in Dunedin and wanted a quiet (and inexpensive) place to stay. We arrived late on a Thursday night and the owner still took the time to welcome us, show us some places to visit to on a map, and took us to our room. Very nice all around. There are bikes you can use, coolers, towels, beach chairs, etc The pool was really nice as well. The location was perfect for us.

Extremely clean and comfortable

Palm Court Motel is truly a hidden gem! It's obvious the owners take pride in their property. The rooms were immaculate and even appeared to have been freshly painted. All the other guests were commenting about how clean and well kept everything was. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They volunteered information about the area, where to eat, things to do/see and offered their own beach chairs, towels, coolers etc. if you wanted a day at the beach. We will definitely be returning here again!
