Dora answered many questions promptly, both before and during our one week stay in December. She was easy to reach and met us at the property.The house is terrific, with a beautiful sea view and an easy walk from the resort. Since it is at the end of a short cul de sac, it’s very quiet. Also well screened from neighbors.Everything was in excellent condition and the kitchen was equipped above the norm for a rental property.Beds were comfortable. House clean.Dora thought that the gas tank for the barbecue might be low, so dropped off a full one the next day.We particularly enjoyed having dessert every evening in the gazebo, listening to the surf hitting the cliff.The location is convenient for beach-going. Coral Estate’s waterfront is well thought out, and we can recommend the SCUBA instruction. But nearby Daaibooi beach is great, as is Cas Abao.Be sure to get to the beach early at peak periods, if you want shade.Dora handled everything in a businesslike manner and the house was as great as it looked on VRBO.

Property is BEAUTIFUL! The views are spectacular! The house is lovely and comfortable! We cooked a lot of our meals at the house and had everything we needed! Dora (our host) was terrific! When we needed anything (even small items), she was there immediately! Cannot say enough good things! The community offers a great beach, great restaurants, and a day spa that we all enjoyed! We ventured out to other beaches, which were all short drives from the property. It was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this property and this host to everyone!

Beautiful home everything was impeccably, clean and in great working order. With seven adults and two children there was plenty of room and great spaces to enjoy. The pool was a big hit. Dora kept great communication and answered all my questions and provided great suggestions.

Family Vacation

We stayed at the villa to celebrate a family member's 60th birthday, and the place was amazing. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and Dora was so easy to communicate with. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the stunning sunsets to the peaceful atmosphere, every moment felt special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a milestone, and we would definitely love to come back again!

A place like no other

In many trips to the Caribbean, I have never stayed at such an extraordinary place in every way! The house was perfect. Meticulously clean, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with any amenity you would need. Walking distance to a small private resort if you feel the desire to have delicious food, spa, beach, or music ventures. The home and resort environment is private and serene making you feel like you are isolated from the world. This is an unbelievably special place!

Fantastic stay

The views almost seemed edited. Promise they aren’t. Fantastic stay, a bit hot, but hey we were at the beach. 10/10, only complaint is the stairs off the back are broken and haven’t been repaired. Basically you can’t walk down to the water without walking to the restaurants. Hostess was spectacular. She met us there and sent me all the best places to check out around town prior to arrive.

Great Location

This is a great property and away from town and very peaceful. Dora was great as our property manager and was on top of everything when we called with any needs or questions. We had a great family gathering and the resort with many amenities and restaurants is a short walk away. ***** 5 stars from the Casillas, Henderson and Morey family.

Paradise!

It does not get any better than this! Ten stars! We booked about 9 months in advance and Dora was wonderfully communicative from start to finish. The website pictures gave an accurate feel for what was in store, and living it in person for 9 days was an exceptional experience. Highlights: - Cabana at top of cliff overlooking ocean is magical. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the views, the waves crashing, and the ocean breezes. - The ocean views & serene location were ideal. - The house is incredible. Our group of 2 adult couples and 2 adult singles had plenty of space. -- Layout is perfect: bedrooms surround kitchen/great room for convenient gathering space, with patio running the length of the back of the house to step outside and enjoy the pool and cabana. -- Lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the view, ocean breezes, and crashing waves -- Everything we needed in kitchen - A quick walk to Koraal and Karakter restaurants - Only 20 minutes from airport and 30 minutes from Willemstad. Private shuttle and taxi service easy to set up and reliable. - House is incredible -- Layout is perfect: bedrooms surround kitchen/great room. -- Lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the view and ocean breezes. -- Everything we needed in kitchen

Excellent home in a great community

The large patio, pool, and covered gazebo offer ample space for a group of 10 to enjoy the location including the sounds of the sea hitting the rocks below the house. We spotted turtles and fish daily. The kitchen is well stocked, and the bedrooms are comfortable. Dora was very helpful providing toys and equipment for our young guests. We tried to book again for next year, but the home was already booked! Great space. Get it while you can!

A wonderful home on a fabulous island.

We enjoyed our time here. The house is expansive with plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out. The best part of the house is it’s water-facing outdoor spaces. A generous covered patio, leads down steps to a massive pool area. There’s plenty of space to soak up the sun and float in the pool. The jewel is the cliff side covered living room. It is in constant wind with thoughtfully selected furnishings. The area of Coral Estate is lovely and secure. It is in a fairly isolated part of the island. A bit of a hike to the capital, but close to all the best beaches. Kokomo, Blue Bay and Pirates are the nicest, for sure. The immediate community is amenitized with a pool, whirlpool and great places to eat and drink. The pelicans at Karakter Beach will keep you entertained for hours. Things to know: the air con is only in the bedrooms. If you’re coming during the hot months, the common areas inside are unpopular. The house is on a cliff, so if you are traveling with kids, you need to be vigilant. Lastly, the water/electric is expensive. Plan on adding $80 a day. Our host was lovely. She was responsive, ready to give recommendations and communication was a breeze. She is a true asset to the experience. Cheers!

This villa is spectacular! It looks exactly like the pictures, if not better. There are now 8 comfy chairs in the gazebo. We ended every night out there listening to the crashing waves and enjoying the wonderful breeze. Coral estates is the perfect combination of quiet&peaceful but also has the amenities of a resort. We got coffee/breakfast every morning at Bread n More. Ate dinner at Koraal, beach lunch at Karaktar, dinner at Pizza n More. All were very good. The living area and kitchen got quite warm during the day, there was a fan but it didn't help much(luckily we weren't home during the days). Each bedroom has air-conditioning that made for very comfortable sleeping. And the beds/pillows were also very comfortable. It was amazing to wake up every morning to an ocean view! The bathrooms were very nice, stocked with toilet paper, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo/conditioner and hair dryer. The pool was great to come home to after being at the beaches. There were comfortable lounge chairs and floats&pool noodles. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay, close to all the best beaches. I do wish there were more restaurant choices closer (going into town takes 35-45min) but that would not deter me from staying here again. Dora was a wonderful host. Very quick to respond to any of my questions. Thank you for the most wonderful family vacation!

Exceptional family vacation

The property is amazing and was perfect for two families of 4. The villa was stocked with all the essentials - toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, soap, shampoo and conditioner, etc so that we didn’t have to buy at the local grocery store. Dora was very responsive and incredibly helpful when it came to advice and recommendations. We got around Curacao easily with a rental car (highly recommend) but the Coral Estates resort area worked for when we didn’t want to run around - 3 restaurants and a pool. Only detractors from the property are items others have identified - the pool is too deep for little ones, runs about 6ft/2m deep and there is no shallow end, just steps, and the stairs to the ocean were out of use - this was certainly a bummer for our adventurous group but that doesn’t take away from the 5-star rating. Iguanas often visit the pool area and local wildlife is abundant and you’re also very close to some great beaches and local eats. I would certainly come back again.

We loved this home!

This home was everything we hoped it would be when we booked it before there were any reviews. The outdoor area with an incredible ocean view was so dreamy. The kids loved having a pool to play in when they’d had enough beach time for the day. The kitchen was well stocked for making our own meals when we did not want to go out to eat. AC units in the bedrooms were essential to a comfortable sleep. We had a wonderful visit and would happily return, but here are a few suggestions for making this home even better: -Repair the stairs going down to the water. It would have been amazing to snorkel right where we were staying. -the living area is always just a little too warm to be comfortable. Would a second or larger fan help? -Provide flashlights and/or matches. We had no electricity on our last evening. My understanding is this isn’t uncommon. While there were lots of candles around, we found no way to light them. Flashlights would be even more helpful. -be a bit more generous with initial supplies. We weren’t provided with dishwasher pods and ran out of trash bags and paper towels mid-week. Dora brought us dishwasher pods and likely would have brought more bags and paper towels if asked, but it would be nice to just start out with more supplies. Thank you for opening up your amazing home to us. Having such a lovely place to return to after a long day at the beach was just heavenly.

Beautiful oceanfront villa in Curacao!

We stayed for a week in May with my husband and I and our adult kids. The house is incredible and extremely comfortable for four couples. There are large living areas inside the house and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is also lots of outdoor space for swimming, relaxing, and watching the beautiful sunsets. I appreciated the covered porch, where we could sit and enjoy the breezes and spectacular views without being in the direct sun. Our kids wanted to be out in the pool and the sun so everyone was happy. We had breakfasts, lunches, and some dinners at home, with the well-equipped kitchen having everything we needed. The villa is a very short walk to a fantastic snorkeling beach, where we went every morning. There are other beautiful beaches within a 10-minute drive. The resort next door also has two restaurants and a spa that we enjoyed. It was very convenient to be able to walk to these options, while enjoying the space and privacy of this amazing villa. Property manager Dora was always responsive and offered great suggestions for restaurants and activities on the island. We had a wonderful visit, with no one wanting to leave the villa at the end of the week. Thank you for everything -- we would love to come back!

Wonderful week in Curaçao

We booked the home in May for six adults. The house was very comfortable for our group. It is certainly suited to accommodate four couples comfortably. It is very spacious with large living areas and plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings on the wonderful oceanfront covered patio, where there is a constant breeze! We cooked most dinners at the home and found that there were ample cooking utensils and supplies. We enjoyed having dinner on the lanai at sunset. Property manager is very responsive. The home is also a very short walk to the restaurants and pool area of the complex. One downside is that the pool does not have a shallow end. If the property provided some floating devices, that might help the situation. We had a great time!
