This property is located right on the St. Lawrence River and has beautiful views from nearly all rooms. The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. Our breakfast at the on site restaurant was tasty and the dining room is very well appointed with unobstructed river views. The hotel is showing its age, from the rugs to the furnishings. It is not bad by any means, just dated and a bit worn. It could use a refurbishment.

Room was very clean and had some nice updates (floor, bathroom door). Could use some others (lamps, furniture, balcony railing). Room was good size and had a nice view. Large tv and comfy bed. Air/heat blower would not stay on constantly, even though it is what we had it set on. Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early. Bar/lounge was very busy. We only had drinks which were reasonable. We were disappointed that the hot tub/jacuzzi was closed. Was one of the things we had planned to use.

We stayed here off season to visit family in the area. We knew there wouldbt be many food options open. They do offer a free grab and go breakfast. There were many choices. We used the pool and spa. The pool was very cold but spa was nice and warm. There definitely needs some updating but overall it was decently priced for March. I wouldn't pay the in season price unless there was a major update. The staff that greated us was very friendly.

Sub par stay

The hotel was hosting a winter event and the staff was juat overwhelmed. They were very pleasant and accommodating but overall the stay was sub par. No towels for pool, dirty common areas (rooms were clean but VERY dated). The outside facade was falling apart and the food was terrible. (We ate right in the hotel)

Because I have bad Arthritis, I had picked you hotel because of the pool and hot tub. I was very disappointed to discover they were both closed. I asked the person checking me in if there would be a discount since those amenities and he stated he didn't know, and I would have to email the manager. I was disappointed with that response. I would think if you work the front desk you would know the answer to that type of question.
