Hillside seclusion
Secluded property with beautiful mature landscape. Very private. Clean and updated! Only downside is not all bedrooms are accessible from main house level. Something to consider if traveling with littles! All the needed comforts of home. Game room was a bonus!

Amazing 4 days in St. John
This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Secluded and beautiful nature around you. The house is beautiful as well and has all the amenities you need. James was also a great host and provided fresh food for us. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again in the future. Thank you James!

The property had lots of space for the price, a very quiet location but still convenient for getting to the beaches, and all the basics needed for our stay. Our check-in person was extremely accommodating with our late arrival, meeting us in town, leading us to the house, and going over everything we needed to know for the house. The welcome basket was also highly appreciated. Overall a great stay. Small notes - there wasn't much living room furniture and what was there wasn't too comfortable, and the kitchen could have been better stocked. But we were able to make do, making many meals.

Great first stay in St John
My family and I enjoyed our stay in Fish Bay at Villa de Paz. The kids love the pool and we loved the quiet neighborhood. It was one way in and one way out so if you’re going to spend a lot of time in town just know that you’re going to always head back out that way. We stayed all on one level (just know if you have kids the unit is connected by exterior stairs). Loved having my coffee and listening to the birds each morning. Property is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscape. Bonus was free weights and yoga mat in the closet!

Fabulous Stay on Saint John
Great, spacious property. Property manager JP was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The space was even better than pictured with two full kitchens, a great central living space and smart home functionalities throughout.

Stop looking and book now!
Let me preface by saying that I am the type of person who has to research ALL my options before booking. And usually, I don’t book any properties that are newer because there aren’t any reviews to read other peoples’ experiences and to gauge how the property actually is. However, I took a chance on this property because of everything it has to offer (a beautiful house that would accommodate my family and a pool?!) for an amazing price. To top it off, my interaction with JP was incredible when I was inquiring about the property. The home was so impressive, super clean, and had every amenity you could think of. My kids LOVED the pool and bunk area where they got to play video games for the first time (when on vacation, right?). The beds were so comfortable and the smart home features were really neat. There were air conditioners in each room and more than enough towels and linens! Having a washer and dryer (and laundry soap provided) was awesome too! Sounds so silly, but a lot of rentals give you the bare minimum and Villa De Paz provides more than you need! The thoughtfulness to have a welcome basket of local foods was appreciated after a long day of travel too! We felt very safe and it was the perfect distance from all of the beaches, while still allowing us to come home every day and feel like we weren’t actually tourists. Communication with JP during our stay was top notch and he provided a lot of great recommendations for us. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Location
Great quiet location for your home base to explore all that STJ has to offer (Cruz is pretty much on your way to everything). We loved having access to beach chairs, backpacks and cooler bags. Extras in the house were well thought out for visitors. Backing into the driveway is a bit challenging since it’s steep but doable. Also, lots of hummingbirds out back!

Villa De Paz is a true oasis!!!!
The home is truly one of a kind – a perfect blend of indoor/outdoor living. The outdoor space at this property is spectacular, from the multiple porches that have gorgeous views of the hilltops of St. John, to the pool deck down below where we spent plenty of relaxing afternoons. There is even a bonus yard area – big enough to have a catch, play games, etc. We loved being able to come back after the beach and have a place to relax in the comfort of our own space. Besides the wonderful outdoor area, Villa Paz doesn’t lack indoor comforts either. The kitchen is stocked with any and all necessary cooking utensils – we cooked several delicious meals here and had more tools than we even knew what to do with! A gourmet chef would be thrilled. The beds were extremely comfortable, the AC worked impeccably and the SmartHome system was a true added bonus – everything we are used to at home, plus more! The welcome goodies were a perfect touch and goes to show how much thought and care is put into making this villa rental more than simply a place to stay – but rather a luxurious and welcoming home on the beautiful island of St. John. We feel lucky to have found this gem and cannot wait to return!
