The location was excellent close to town. Our host was excellent enjoyed meeting him he also provided us with all the details on the house and a very detailed map with recommendations on the Island. Most generous supply of Towels and everything we needed for spending long days on the beach and hiking the National parks.

An absolutely stunning and gorgeous property, perfect for 2 people with plenty of privacy and space to relax! The location is minutes from shopping, restaurants and downtown Cruz Bay. It’s also very close to all the north shore beaches. Couldn’t ask for better hosts who checked in with us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. The welcome snacks and drinks were also such a nice touch after a long day of travel! 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the perfect location with gorgeous views from the deck!!! AMAZING place to stay!! Location was awesome - overlooks beautiful Cruz Bay, and minutes away from restaurants and entertainment! The property manager and owners were so attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay. They even had a gorgeous fruit basket, cheese, crackers, and bottle of wine chilled upon our arrival! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We will definitely be back!

30th Anniversary

We so enjoyed our stay on St. John! Our accommodations were perfect for the two of us. Well nestled at the top of the hill in Cruz Bay. The view was beautiful easy access to downtown and off to our beach days and excursions. The villa was well appointed with extras we were not expecting! Our hosts helped us out along the way with recommendations and questions about the property. We would start our day with a gorgeous view, having coffee and breakfast on the deck, while coming back for happy hour to watch the sunset before we head out to dinner a wonderful way to spend your time, relaxing on the island. Can't wait to return and stay again! Thank you!PS.... the mattress could use a soft topper as it is a bit firm. But everything else was excellent!

The best of the best! Would highly recommend. Jenna was great meeting us when our flight was delayed more than 4 hours and took us promptly to the property. Patty and Marcus are wonderful owners. The villa is perfect for two, it has everything you need more than you expect. The cleanliness of the property is outstanding.

Home "Sweet" Home

My husband planned this trip for our 11th anniversary. It was truly amazing! Exactly as described on the website. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the house by Sean. He gave us a quick yet thorough run down of the property and the island. It was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated as this was our first time visiting St. John. It definitely will NOT be our last visit. Marcus and Patty were generous host offering wine, fruit and cheese upon arrival. The property is stocked well with all things needed for an island getaway. One thing to be noted, is that the property did lose power, as did most of the island at times. However, the property has a generator that kept us powered up and cool. A huge selling point in our opinion. Thank you for making this such a fun and memorable trip!

The house was very updated and the view is great. The drive up the hill and driveway is very steep just be prepared. And it is gated. We enjoyed our stay. The only think is the bed was very firm and we don’t like firm mattress other then that everything else was great.

"Sweet" Paradise!

We were fortunate enough to stay 10 nights at the "Sweet". What an incredible place - modern yet beachy, spotless and a great location with amazing hosts! We felt welcomed from the first email exchange after booking our stay. This was our 4th stay on the island and our first at the "Sweet". We won't stay anywhere else on St. John again. Thank you Marcus and Jena for helping to make sure our island vacation was all it could be! We will be back!

Simply Amazing!!

To echo every review written about this beautiful property, my wife and I totally loved everything about our entire stay at Sweet St. John. The property is so modern, meticulously decorated, and the views are simply breathtaking. Marcus bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable with every aspect of your stay. He has thought of EVERYTHING when it comes to the amenities. We even had cheese, fruit, crackers, and a bottle of my wife's favorite wine chilled when we arrived. I honestly can't imagine a better experience renting any property. Book Sweet St. John with absolute confidence! I promise you won't be disappointed with a single thing! Sweet St. John Amazing

My wife and I stayed at Sweet St. John to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The property looked great on VRBO and it totally lived up to our expectations. Marcus is an exceptional host and has an incredible attention to detail and gift for hospitality. The location was convenient to town and the ferries. This was our 4th trip to St. John and this property and this host made it the best one of all. I would highly recommend this property for a couple looking for a nice relaxing vacation. A+

I can honestly say this is a beautiful property! You can tell the time/love/care & such attention to detail that went into this place. You couldn't want or need a thing. Absolutely Wonderful

This was our fifth trip to St John and this was definitely the best place that we have stayed. Everything was perfect. Loved the setting - private, close to Cruz Bay and phenomenal views of St Thomas. The accommodations were even better. Everything was perfect and the attention to detail was amazing. Everything that we needed for an enjoyable vacation was provided. We couldn't have asked for anything more. And Marcus was the ultimate host - walking us through everything that we needed to know about the rental and the island. We couldn't be happier. Will definitely return.
