Happy Place is a newly constructed contemporary-style three-bedroom pool villa. Lush landscaping surrounds the large well-lit, paved parking area. A privacy wall screens the breezy, covered outdoor living/dining gallery and pool patio, providing privacy. A great room with a cook’s kitchen, dining area and comfortable living area, full laundry, large pantry, and two king bedroom suites are located on the main level with no stairs for easy access. A third king bedroom suite is accessed via floating stairs and features a rooftop sunning and stargazing lounge. The atmosphere of Happy Place is so relaxing you won't ever want to leave.

Happy Place is located in Chocolate Hole, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in St John. A 7-minute walk to Chocolate Hole's private beach. It boasts expansive views of Chocolate Hole Bay,  just minutes from Cruz Bay Town and St John's Famous Beaches.

Hilltop home with great view
The 3 bedroom house was great for our family with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. The kitchen/dining area is large and well equipped. Nice warm pool with a protected lounging area steps from the living room. The owner Lance is very responsive. The only drawback is the rough steep "road" leading up to the house, but driving anywhere in St. John is an adventure.

Fun on Chocolate Hole
We enjoyed staying at the Happy Place. Easy to get to and not far from Cruise Bay. The three bedroom suites were great and the outdoor area was very nice. It was a great week. Thanks!

Great views and amazing outdoor spaces
We stayed at Happy Place with our family of five (children in their twenties). The house is beautiful and the kitchen is well appointed. All three bedrooms are similarly sized and each has their own bathroom. The Chocolate Hole location is centrally located and it’s only a 10 minute drive to Cruz Bay. You can walk down (on the road) to Chocolate Hole but it’s a steep climb on the way back. We drove down and there is a small parking lot near the water. The house has a great covered balcony and roof deck. We spent most of our “hang out” time by the pool and on the outdoor couches. If you’re interested in having someone stock groceries for you so that your fridge is full when you arrive, we used Land Lubber Logistics and they were terrific.

Awesome sunsets!
Great views, great pool, great beds, great bathrooms. Two of the suites are exterior entrances, which I think is normal for Caribbean homes, but with young kids we would have wanted to know for practicality of kids waking up in the night and being safe. Great place for teens, couples. And, we still had an awesome time

Perfect Vacation Home
House was perfect, views are absolutely superb, and the pool was a wonderful addition. All 3 rooms are removed from one another, and master-sized suites- making it a perfect place for couples or friends. Although one toilet was out of order, everything else was as described in perfect and clean condition. The road to the property is steep and in poor condition, but nothing out of the ordinary for the rest of the island, and “Happy Place” actually shows in google maps, making driving their a breeze. Highly recommended!

Great Stay-beautiful view
Our stay was very nice…finding the villa was a bit challenging. Roads are not for the faint of heart and not well marked. We enjoyed our stay which was short but never heard from property manager after we arrived and had reached out with a few questions. Would have appreciated a book a menus/restaurants….and maybe a little more personalized advice for touring the area. Otherwise enjoyed the villa and pool with great view and sunset.

A Perfect Stay
Happy Place was everything me and my friends could have asked for, and more. It was clean, accessible, and most of all...breathtaking. The views were one of a kind. The pool was where we spent most of our time, but the upper patio had amazing views and kitchen was perfect for dinner. The place was full of appliances to use for drinks and meals. Each room had its own bathroom which was awesome too. I was also very excited that this stay allowed us to stay for 2 nights only. A lot of rentals of this caliber require you to stay for at least 4 or 5 days which would have broke our bank. Happy place was everything we could have asked for and more. Lance was very responsive to any questions we had, but there weren't many as he had information for everything we needed in a binder in the house. I highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to enjoy St. John.
