Jim was very accommodating and made sure our stay was a great one. He answered all of our questions promptly. The house was beautiful. Sunrises on the deck were amazing! This was a much better choice for us rather than staying in noisy Cruz Bay. This made a great home base for all of our adventures.

Great place to stay on the quiet side of St John. The views of sunrise are great. Well equipped kitchen and beach gear - the beach chairs are much more comfortable than what are available to rent at Trunk Bay. Easy walk to the well stocked market.Bedrooms are air conditioned and the design of the kitchen/living space means there is always a pleasant breeze to keep comfortable.Perfect for two couples.

Jim was an incredibly welcoming host and the location of the property was great. The rental property was clean and the outdoor space was nicely laid out. The only things that seemed to be missing were some essentials for cooking (salt, pepper, oil, drinking water, etc) and some items for leisure (games, cards). Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked.

We had a fabulous experience! The view is incredible, with the constant sound of waves and a refreshing ocean breeze. The balcony and outdoor space were amazing—enjoying coffee while watching the sunrise was the perfect way to start each day.The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and each room had its own air-conditioning unit. Jim, our host, was respectful, courteous, and incredibly helpful. He had snorkel gear ready for us, and the beach chairs were a huge bonus. He shared great recommendations for places to visit, local sleep remedies, a charter company and captain, and even invited us to a Christmas service. When a small repair was needed, Jim responded quickly and resolved it promptly. He was also very responsive before our arrival.The island offers beautiful beaches, bays, and fantastic restaurants. We recommend exploring as much as possible, but don’t miss the views at The Windmill Bar—we went three times! We loved 1864 The Restaurant in Cruz Bay (twice) and Gingo’s as well.We also recommend FlyAway Charters and a visit to Eden Jewelers for some beautiful bling.Pro tip: Pack bug spray and anti-itch cream—mosquitoes and no-see-ums are common on the island no matter where you stay.We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Jim!

Host was great and answered all of our questions. Location has awesome views and we were even able to watch the Coral Bay Regatta from our porch. Too windy to try out snorkeling or kayaks there. Lots of close beaches with great snorkeling close by.

Great week!

Everything was as described, easy to access, nice views. Jim was very discreet but always present when needed. Perfect place for our family of 4, even the teenager liked it.Several options to eat nearby, north beaches are 10-15 minutes away, no need to rent a Jeep to access this house.

Wonderful!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Jim was a fantastic host—thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful from the planning phase all the way through our trip. He truly thought of everything, from beach chairs and snorkel gear to a fully stocked kitchen with every gadget you could possibly need.The house itself was comfortable and well-appointed. The beds were cozy, the fans kept everything breezy, and the bedroom A/C was a great touch. The views? Simply breathtaking.We especially loved the pool area—the loungers were perfect for an afternoon nap in the sun. But my favorite part of each day was enjoying breakfast on the balcony while watching the sunrise.Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, well-equipped, and memorable getaway!

Great Property, Fantastic Host

Our host, Jim, was the best. Super helpful and knowledgeable about all things St John.Responded quickly and thoroughly to our inquiries prior to and during our stay and went out of his way to make our stay memorable.The property itself is wonderful. Well equipped, clean, and great location. Amazing view, especially the beautiful sunrise. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space, such a great place for morning coffee or reading in the evening on the comfortable outdoor sectional. We would highly recommend this property.

Amazing Views, Great Host

Jim's property exceeded our expectations on all counts! The house is on Johnson's Bay, overlooking the East End and Norman Island. The views are spectacular in all directions. Coral Bay with its stores, restaurants and bars is a quick 5 minute drive. The house had everything we wanted in a vacation house, including an ice maker. Having the pool was a plus after a hot day at the beach. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor grille was brand new and worked great! There were multiple outdoor sitting areas to either be in the sun or get away from the sun. Jim was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful two week vacation at his property! We plan on returning next year!

Great Stay with a Few Considerations

Our stay at Aqua Vista Villa was enjoyable. The host was very responsive—on-site yet unobtrusive. The kitchen was well-stocked, making meal prep easy. The expansive deck was a great feature, though unfortunately, we couldn't take full advantage of it due to the weather and bugs.One thing to note is the driveway. While considered "gently sloped" by St. John standards, it’s still quite steep and can be challenging to navigate. Overall, a lovely stay with just a few things to keep in mind!

Wonderful stay in Coral Bay St John

Jim was a wonderful host with good practical and helpful information. Quite comfortable for 2 couples, and well equipped. Super comfortable beach chairs and cooler were used every day and were fantastic. Decking was a highlight. Just great for morning coffee sunrise, outdoor dining, lounges were a big plus too. Views were great and easy access off the main road. Would definitely return

Great Spot on Coral Bay !

Aqua Vista is located right on the water in Coral Bay. Ocean kayaking included with the stay and we paddled every day ! Jim (Host) was extremely helpful as well
