Enjoy a little slice of heaven at our Otter Place cabin located on the southwest shore of Lost Lake in St Germain, WI.

This 2BD, 1BA, lakefront cabin comfortably sleeps 4, but can handle 6...queen, 2 twins, and a queen sleeper sofa.

Enjoy the screen porch, sandy swimming area and the private dock for your boat. Firewood is provided free of charge for your time spent with family and friends around your own firepit. There is a charcoal grill, picnic table, and large wooden swing for your use.

The cabin has a 42" flat screen TV with YouTube TV, Netflix, and Prime streaming services. We also provide our guests with free Spectrum Premier internet (500 mbps).

There are 2 kayaks and an aluminum rowboat available at no charge for you to use during your stay.

Our guests can connect to the ATV/UTV trail and the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail right at the end of Chucks Trail. We also have direct access to the lake for our snowmobilers and ice fishermen during our winter season.

Fishermen love using our remodeled fish cleaning house with it's 10 ft. aluminum sink, running water, and a timed heater for those colder days.

Experience this affordable family getaway, and you’ll want to come back year after year.

Have a large group wanting to rent? In addition to Otter Place, we have two other rentals available next door…Whitetail Ridge (newly constructed in 2018) and Gone Fish Inn (completely remodeled in 2019).

Pets are considered at Otter Place for an additional fee of $150 per dog (with a max of 2 dogs) on a case by case basis. Undisclosed pets will be charged a minimum cleaning fee of $200/dog.

Was a very nice little cabin Lost Lake. The cabin was very clean, comfortable for 4 adults and a great location. Communication with the hosts was excellent and very easy check in. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Excellent place to enjoy fall colors!

Cabin was cozy and clean and reminded me of our family's cottage in Suring. We wanted that cottage experience instead of a modern condo or hotel and this exceeded our expectations! Very quiet in St. Germain this time of year. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting by the water watching the morning sunrise. Visited some bars and restaurants and always had a great meal!

Relaxing vacation!!

Excellent vacation!! The cabin was very nice! There were things for everyone in the group. We kayaked, fished and swam. It was so nice there that we didn’t even leave to go explore town or to go to a different lake. We visited with one of the neighbors who were up for their first time also. We are planning for when we can go back next summer or over the winter for ice fishing. We definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice cabin to enjoy the lake.

My daughter, her husband and 2 kids stayed there. Cabin is clean and well maintained. View of the lake is beautiful. Really enjoyed the Bald Eagles soaring overhead. I highly recommend this cabin for a couple or small family

Great experience in the northwoods

We had a great time. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was the perfect set-up for the 4 of us. Our host was fantastic. She got back to me immediately when I messaged her with questions for info on boat rentals and other questions. Highly recommended!

Very clean, comfortable and cozy cabin. Plenty of room for us (4 adults). Pleasant surroundings to sit outside and enjoy the lake! Shower was a bit smaller than expected but it worked out well. Enjoyed our time there! Highly recommend this cabin.

We have family that live in the area. The hotels get so noisy and crowded during snowmobile season. This was a nice retreat and didn’t feel crowded.

property was good/ expected a sandy beach and it was not. we still had a great time going other places. told her I needed the door code sent to my cell phone since did not have access too my email on the road- all worked out to to a family neighbor. Would rent again.

Cabin small and cozy.

We would have liked to have been able to sit on the screen porch and watch the lake, sun rise, sunsets but it was filled with spiders and cobwebs. The cabin was a nice size for the 2 of us plus our dog. I'm not sure how 4-6 people would stay as it is pretty small. The bathroom shower is the smallest we have ever seen. It was nice to get away for a week. We were looking forward to being in the water but it was green with algae so that didn't happen which is no fault of the owners. Overall I would give Cabin a rating of just okay.
