We were on the island just for my mom's memorial service, so we didn't stay long or do too much else, and did not get a chance to use any of the extra amenities (although the pool did look inviting!) The unit was just what we were hoping for: close parking, ground floor (one step to enter), functional kitchen, separate bedroom for my daughter, internet access, and private. We were the only ones staying in the quads, so it was very quiet. It is close enough to businesses to walk or bike, but just far enough to not feel busy. The couch was a bit floppy, but the rest looked fresh and clean. Kitchen was beautiful. The only confusion I had about the listing was that the pictures are from both units, so it is hard to know which is which. But the owner was very quick to respond to all inquiries. We would happily stay there again when we have more time.

great location, exactly 5 minute walk to beach. the quad apartment I had was clean but roughly clean at the edges. there was calcium buildup on the bathroom faucet, some red looking stuff which could be mold or could not be mold around the bathroom floor drain. I had a terrible time getting in because the key pad numbers were not visible in poor light in the hallway but Craig was on the phone with me all the time. the pool was clean, backyard is undesirable, lots of ant pils on grass, unkept. the island has a mosquito problem, nothing to do with the property. island is extremely dark at night too nothing to do with owner. the grocery store (only one on the island piggly wiggly) was very expensive with low budget groceries. nearest publix is 47 miles away highly suggest going to publix before getting on that island. I felt safe though which was most important. I felt towels were clean - important, kitchen was clean but just areas I mentioned and the kitchen window has no curtain or blind, bad for privacy I did not appreciate that at all. curtains were ok, looked cheap and flimsy and harbor dust, I know because I have allergies to dust. the place is dated but needs another boost, binds maybe, kitchen window coverage. i thought the cleaning fee was excessive and the animal service charge (my dog is a documented service dog) was unlawful. loved the peaceful island, nothing but beach, pool and relaxing on that island, yes some bars and restaurants (not too many)
