This house has the bare bones of what you need for a nice stay in the area with a lot of people. We enjoyed our stay overall. There was plenty of space for our party of 11 and the kitchen was well stocked with an abundance of appliances and tools, which we appreciated. Generally, our stay and check out was pretty straightforward and unfussy, which we appreciated. We had a few snags: the code for check in didn’t work, there were no hair dryers, and one of the showers didn’t work. The hosts were incredibly responsive to solve any issues during our stay. We were very impressed with the effort they went through to help us, though they often seemed confused. The location is not secluded at all, so if you want that then this is not your spot. If you’re used to staying in short term rentals managed by professional hosts for business trips, our experience at this property did not meet that level of detail. This place could easily become its own destination with some tiny improvements, such as, better quality sheets (they’re very pilled and scratchy), a guide to the house itself or even the area, maintenance attention to the house, and some nice touches like an HDMI cord or space heaters for the downstairs in the winter.
