August Jack exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were cozy, and the building was wonderfully quiet—we slept so well after a full day of skiing. My son especially loved being able to watch YouTube on the TV! The room also came equipped with a microwave, kettle, and fridge, along with tea and coffee, which was very convenient. We didn’t expect breakfast, so it was a lovely surprise to find a simple morning spread with muffins, cookies, bread with various jams, cereal, and even Nespresso. Starting the day with a cup of Nespresso was perfect. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator. If your room is on the 2nd floor, you need to carry your luggage up the stairs. We would definitely recommend August Jack to other travellers.

It is an older building, which is good because the rooms are larger. It used to have kitchenette, but it was remodelled I guess. I left early due to snow warning. Traffic to Van is aleays sliw.

Having proper coffee machines in the rooms would be good, not just instant coffee. As well, after selecting the “pay at site” option on Expedia I was charged 2 days ahead of the stay (for 1 room, 2nd room charged on arrival). Staff were very good, friendly and attentive.
