- The homeowner lives next door, in a completely separate unit, and may be present during your stay
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 faces the front outdoor entry and parking area. Camera 2 faces the property exterior and the owner’s property next door. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras do not actively record video or sound and will be on during the duration of your stay. The cameras are primarily for monitoring weather conditions
- This property does not offer air conditioning
- There are other bookable vacation rentals on-site, and they share the beach, yard, and dock with this property; therefore, from June to August, other travelers may be present during your stay. This cabin is private and has a dedicated grill, fire pit, hammock, and picnic table. Due to the area's seasonality, September to May are the quieter times of the year
- While 3 kayaks are available to this unit, a total of 8 adult-sized kayaks, 3 child-sized kayaks, 1 rowboat, and 1 canoe are shared between the rentals on-site. Guests are encouraged to coordinate with each other to share equipment as needed
- The seasonal dock is available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests are welcome to use it for fishing or swimming; if you would like to use it for other purposes you will need to reach out after booking
- There is no EV charging available on-site, but there is a charging station less than a mile down the road

Glenn and Bev’s home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed our family time here while visiting during our boys spring break from Florida. The home is large, spacious, comfortable and cozy. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal, the home itself gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy each others company. We hope to return again in the future.

Adirondack Lake House

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house was clean and comfortable with direct access to Lake Pleasant, steps from the front porch. We took advantage of the kayaks and fished right from the shore. Great hikes nearby, great place to just relax and enjoy the lake and the Adirondacks. Great communication from the owner, look forward to coming back in the future.

This was a great place to stay for our family (grandparents, kids, grandkids) because of the size and number of bedrooms/beds. The house was pretty clean and had almost anything that you could have needed to prepare meals. The beach and lawn space was great for us and for the kids. The owner was very kind and allowed us to take an extra couple of hours to pack up on our last day. I would not be surprised if we stay again at this house, hopefully in the summer when it's a bit warmer and we can make more use of the lake!

We couldn't ask for a more perfect spot to get our friends together for a fun weekend away. There is everything you may need and more. We loved kayaking the most. We would definitely recommend staying and would love to stay again in the future.

We just returned from our week at White Pines. The owners were extremely flexible and accommodating. The house was immaculate and very roomy. The sandy beach and shallow water were perfect for our toddler and the rest of our multigenerational family group. We look forward to a return visit!

From start to finish Glenn immediately answered all questions and the property exceeded expectations. The house was accurately described and very spacious. Coffee on the porch with morning fog over the lake was super. Very nice beach area with very shallow clear water. We loved having the large lawn area for games and activities. While we thought the property having a shared lakefront would be a negative, we actually very much enjoyed having additional kids and families around for our children to play with. We felt very welcomed the entire week and our dog loved it too!

Great Family Time and Memories

We walked into a cozy, comfortable and warm home with plenty of room for some great family time and memories. The house was immaculate and had everything to accommodate a comfortable stay. The yard and the lake area were great for the grand kids to run, play, and swim. The back porch was cozy and a great place to sit with your morning coffee. All the comforts of home and then some. The scenery of the mountains behind the lake was awesome too. We all had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to go back.

Wonderful visit

My husband and I met our adult children and their partners for a lovely weekend in the Adirondacks for a wedding at Oak Mountain. The wedding took up much of the weekend, but we enjoyed all our time at White Pines. It was closely located to Oak Mountain and the brewery where people gathered the night before to visit. The home itself was very comfortable and had everything we could ever need. We enjoyed sitting around the outdoor fire and the gas fireplace inside to visit. We loved the view and coffee on the sunny porch. Our host was very accommodating and texted us to offer a later check out, which we really appreciated. We see this as a great place to meet in the future with kids in the Southern tier and New England and us on the St Lawrence River. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful property on the western side of Lake Pleasant, which made for a stunning view of the sunrise. The yard is spacious and allowed us to freely play games, sunbathe, and run around. We especially appreciated the sandy bottom of the water at the private beach. Lots of dinner on the porch, lounging in the hammock, and s’mores by the fire. Just a few minutes down the road from the house was the center of Speculator with a grocery store, diner, and a few shops. Everything we needed for a relaxing and cozy stay! Although we spent a lot of time outside, the inside of the house was just as lovely. Clean and comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend taking the kayaks or canoe out on the water to see the mountain views!

Peace and Tranquility Awaits You

Wonderful vacation getaway!! Perfect for an extended family or group of adult couples too. Beautiful cozy lake home on a sprawling lawn with a magical lake view. The large front porch invited numerous cups of coffee and a few bottles of wine sharing time with family and friends. Fantastic beach area with a huge premiere sandy bottom swim area where the water stays shallow and drops gently quite a distance from the shoreline. Perfect for children!! We loved the outdoor fire-pit for evening S’mores making while we enjoyed the stars above in the clean mountain air. All the amenities a group could want or need are provided. So many things to do in the area. The kayaking was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be venturing back for more fun!!! The kids are already asking when we’re going again. We could tell it is a great place in all seasons. So relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for a fantastic visit!

Gorgeous House & Property in the Adirondacks

The house was beautifully decorated in the Adirondack style & with lots of interesting antiques. The house & kitchen were comfortable & well-equipped. The property was gorgeous between the lawn, beach, lake & mountain views. We made good use of the outside picnic benches. The beach was perfect for little ones, as it was quite shallow for a ways out. My older kids enjoyed swimming out to the ropes & paddling the mini paddle boards, as well as the kayaks, and our fishing boat we had brought with us. The house was actually very clean, but I gave 4 stars because a few of the dishes we pulled out were covered in some kind of dust that was difficult to get off. We had a large party staying there, so we often used all of the plates, bowls, etc. These were probably dishes from the bottom of the stack that were least used. We did also have some communication problems getting in touch with the owner at first because of the 3rd party booking company. They could not answer all of our questions. We were not given the owner's contact details until we had made a final payment, at which point, Glen was very responsive to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful, well equipped property with a shallow sandy beach perfect for my grandkids and dog to enjoy. Access to the dock was a bit tricky and kept my mom from using it. Plentiful kayaks, etc to get out on the water. We enjoyed the cover porch, the fire pit and the huge lawn. Grocery store and General store are super convenient just about a mile qaway.
