Came to float the Elk river, it was only about a 25 min drive to our location, we are a family of 8, enjoyed the stay, loved that it was in the country but there was a little convienience store across the road! Great stay! Will stay again!

The host was very responsive and quickly responded to any email message sent quickly! The home is so cozy, clean, and the beds are so comfy, this is the second year we have stayed at this property when in town visiting family and truly have enjoyed our stay each time! The complimentary treats are extra nice for those late arrival folks like ourselves!!! I would recommend this property to anyone especially to those traveling with families.

Spacious Retreat

Spacious place for my big group. The house was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable for a good night's sleep. The game room held hours of fun. Location was close to our weekend river float. Highly recommend!!

Family visit

Hi have family that lives close by and was visiting for the holiday. This home was perfect, nice beds, plenty of room for those of us staying and a beautiful quiet place. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities!!! It was lovely and the hosts left a little gift basket which was so sweet!!

Place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated for fall. Water has extremely high iron content Host did provide drinking water and water for coffee. However the water smelled so bad none of us even attempted to take a shower. Extremely difficult to find at night. Some reflectors at the end of the drive would be helpful.

Private island getaway!

Everything was perfect about the stay, even the small details like snacks paid great dividends for our daughters. The additional game room provided entertainment and more space. So much space indoors and outdoors! Perfect for that family getaway! Only suggestion is to get water filters. Had a very strong gas-like odor from the sulfuric water and kids would not drink or bathe in it. Gallon of fresh water was provided which was thoughtful! Other than that, 5 stars all around! Thanks so much!!

Loved it

Property is beautiful! Peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. Country vibe but close to town. Kitchen knives weren’t sharp and there was no cutting board. Only one roll of paper towels, not enough toilet paper, we had to buy extra. Not complaining just thought you might need to know. Only one roll of TP per bathroom for 5 people for 4 days.
