Southport Waterfront

Be part of a unique small town. Live oaks, historic homes, shopping, restaurants, all contribute to the uniqueness of Southport NC. But what really sets it apart is that all roads seem to lead to water and that's where you will be. Fireworks on the 4th, Stede Bonnet Regatta,and the U.S. King mackerel Open, are examples of what can be viewed from the deck.

One king size bed with private bathroom, another bedroom with two single beds with private bathroom, provide sleeping for four. Fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area, and open floor plan lead to living easy.

Cook dinner and watch the boats go by from the deck or take a short 30 second walk to the marina. Several great restaurants can be found via a beautiful 3 or 4 minute walk down the waterway. These include the Yacht Basin Provision Company as well as Fishy Fishy Café – Restaurant & Bar. Both of these restaurants have great seafood and you dine right on the dock with the water just below. For a cocktail, head to the end of the dock and the Old American Fish Company which occasionally has live misuc and watch the boaters watching you. All of these places are less than five minutes walk from the condo.

Everything about Butch’s Unit is outstanding. We have stayed multiple times and feel it is our Southport home away from home. The Unit is immaculate, thanks to his outstanding housekeeper, and everything is in perfect condition. There have been recent updates to the inside and outside of the Condo complex, which added to the excellence. Location is an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Views are so relaxing, and the rocking chairs are perfect. Hope to be back for a longer stay this winter.

The condo was perfectly walkable to visit the sites we wanted to see. Fun local restaurants, all with delightful views and delicious food.The condo was spacious, well maintained and well equipped with everything we needed. As others have said, also immaculately clean and tidy!Butch and Kathleen were very kind and responsive hosts! What wasn’t listed, reserved covered parking and an elevator! Perfect!

Perfect place to stay in Southport!!

Absolutely the best spot to stay in Southport. The condo is within a 10 minute walk of pretty much everything. We walked nearly everywhere we went. Restaurants are close by but far enough away that the area around the condo is quiet and peaceful. The view is gorgeous from a large spacious porch. Beds are super comfy, soft linens, and a nice well stocked kitchen. Butch is helpful and super responsive. Highly recommend!!

The view from the balcony never disappoints. It’s definitely in walking distance to all the great restaurants and most shopping. I loved walking out on the public access through the marshes. The condo was very clean and had all the essentials you would want. Butch was very responsive to my texts. All in all it’s the best overall vacation I like. Everyone is so friendly, great food, great shopping, quaint houses, and I get a big dose of nature.

Southport Condo across from the marina

Butch's(Robert) condo was perfect for us. We arrived by boat and had a slip in the marina. Easy walk across to the condo. The location is ideal. Walking distance to everything in Southport. Close to the restaurants and bars on the old yacht basin. The view from the covered porch of the marina and Cape Fear River is amazing. Butch was proactive and a great communicator. The condo is well stocked with essentials. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything I wanted it to be, and then some!

It's so nice when a place not only meets your expectations, but exceeds them! Everything was just as pictured, and on top of that the condo was very neat, clean, and so well stocked! We had everything we needed, including all the soaps you need, plenty of linens, including black wash cloths for makeup removal, and the towels were big and plush! Oh, and the toilet paper and paper towels were even good quality, which sounds like a small thing, but matters to me! And the view was wonderful, overlooking the marina and the marsh walk, which I love! And the porch overlooking it was so long and wide, with plenty of seating choices to sit and take it all in! We even got a birds eye view of some of the filming the the Netflix Series "The Waterfront." Close proximity to everything! We just loved it, and definitely want to return! Also, communication with Butch was awesome!

Great but annoying

Everything was great and was exactly as the listing stated. The condo was spacious and everything we needed was there except for a golf cart and a boat. lol The only real problem we had was the couple that was on the third floor above us, it almost felt like they were doing it intentionally Sometimes at 4:30 in the morning until midnight. You could hear every “stomping” footstep they took and their dog barking. With the exception of that, we had a great time! I don’t know if that couple lives there or if they were renting but we would not stay there again if we knew they were going to be there.

Quaint Condo with Marina/Bay Views

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious two-bedroom condo on the second floor. We enjoyed many hours on the rocking chairs on porch facing the water. Beautiful views! In addition, they location was perfect for exploring the town on the golf cart we rented. Fun shops, good food and live music were all found in Southport.

Absolutely Wonderful!

As great as the pictures are on the listing for this condo, they do not do it justice! The location is great, the town is walkable from the rental, especially the restaurants at the yacht basin. The deck was a favorite spot to drink morning coffee and watch the boat traffic, those container ships are crazy!! The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is so well stocked with everything you need. This condo is a perfect jumping off spot for all beach adventures: Oak Island, Bald Head (a must visit), plus the ferry to Fort Fisher and the aquarium. I cannot wait to come back for another visit, and this property will definitely be my ‘go to’. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The minute we opened the door: Beautiful view, beautiful decor, the best location, spotlessly clean. The owner was fantastic & prompt when we had questions. You can tell that this condo is well loved by the owners, with no detail missed. Like a 5 star luxury hotel. Convenient to walk to restaurants, etc. Huge private deck to watch boats go by & feel the breeze. You will not want to leave! Would stay here again and again!
