Perfectly fine hotel. Great breakfast!!

It was a rare hot day and 5th floor room was too hot to sleep for a long rime. The window opened but no way to get the cool air in. A simple small fan added to the room to place by the window would have made all the difference. I realize no need for A/C here.

A nice sized room, friendly, professional staff, a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant and a fabulous breakfast buffet after a great night's sleep. The area is a little blah, not much too do, but the hotel was a happy surprise.

This hotel was a clean, warm choice for our one-night stop. Our flight arrived at 8.30pm, so the 9pm restaurant closing time was a little tight (and other dining options were limited), but thankfully the helpful staff were able to squeeze in a meal for us at the last-minute.

Great place to stay in Kirkenes

Great place to stay in Kirkenes. We arrived in the morning from the port so dropped our luggage in their large and secure luggage room and set off exploring. Check in was easy, staff were friendly. Fantastic room, very large and spacious, so much so we had to check if we had been upgraded! Large bathroom as well, with heated floor which was fantastic in February. We made use of the pool and sauna as well, just have to get a key card from reception to access.

Comfortable and clean room. Pool n sauna but didn't use them.Delicious breakfast with lots of choices in a comfortable dining area. Bus to airport out side and if coming from cruise terminal costs 70nok . . Walkable distance but cumbersome with luggage.150 nok to airport.Check time as it runs a few times per day only. Hotel has a shuttle if u arrange with them for a fee. Chef was very helpful. Assisted with our luggage when we arrived!V. convenient location. N pick up for snow hotel excursions. A must!

Comfortable room with a lovely bath and a substantial breakfast spread included in the price. Easy viewing of the northern lights from the window also sealed the deal. The food in the restaurant was also very good. Particularly the fish.

From the first minutes you enter the hotel, you are surrounded by an atmosphere of attentiveness and responsiveness. The staff is sensitive and understanding of your needs and is worthy of all praise. Without any doubt, next time I will definitely stay at the Scandic hotel.
