Escape to a newly renovated cottage full of unique seaside charm, nestled on a working waterfront in the once active, Sprucehead Quarry. This cottage used to house the miners as they came off the boats to work the quarry. This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat offers a blend of modern comfort and nautical character. Featuring stainless steel appliances, original wood paneling, and warm wood flooring throughout, the cottage invites you to unwind in style. With a king bed and full bed upstairs, plus a cozy pull-out couch in the sunroom, it comfortably accommodates guests. The full bathroom on the second floor has an oversized walk-in shower. The sunroom, with its gas-burning woodstove, is an ideal spot to relax and soak in the tranquil ambiance of the water and nature.

Cozy cottage

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

One of the cleanest cottages I have ever stayed in. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms so I didn’t have to think of the basics. Comfy beds with nice linens. And the bedrooms were spacious and light. Enough room for two couples or a family with two kids. Located within walking distance of McCloons which has the best lobster and crabmeat rolls in Maine. Great area to walk, bike, canoe or watch a working lobster coops at work.
