The check-in process is different than we’d ever experienced, there’s no one at the front “lobby” it’s all through text/digital. Which was fine other than a slight delay in check-in, but was corrected quickly. The room was nice, clean and has just what you need. Nothing super fancy but I knew that going into the stay. Beds are really comfy, and the air is easy to set for desired temp. Bring a sound machine because if you’re on the first floor, your upstairs neighbors may be very loud!! We had what sounded like a bunch of children jumping around and constantly making noise. I did reach out to the hotel owners and they tried to make them quiet down, but it only worked for a short period. You really can’t beat the location though, which is really why we chose this place. We parked our car and didn’t use it again until we checked out. That in itself was worth the noise upstairs! Would recommend this place if you’re looking for location and decent pricing, but remember there’s no extra frills.
Suggestion for hotel owners: I would have a shoe shelf at the door that has a drip pan. We had to use a towel to keep from tracking in snow and water into our room.
