we got extra charge for early check-in

Our plane arrived early at Boston International airport and arrive at York hotel a bit early.... due to eagerness to have a rest the receptionist charged us $40 for early check-in. I wish there is a leeway for this kind of incidence.

Did the job for a 4 day beach vacation. Quiet. About 10 minutes from York Beach. Seemed short staffed but met our minimal needs. Free breakfast decent. Rooms could use more options for hanging wet clothes and towels, other than that no complaints

Staff is rude, immediate bad attitude

Front of house staff was incredibly rude, i had annissue and they didnt bother to look into anything, or ask a manager for help. They just immediately told me its my problem and to deal with it. I wont be back to this or any other best western.

My room was clean, but my friend woke up with swollen eyes. I ended up with a runny nose. We could smell mold. I'm on oxygen 24/7. I called the desk, and they offered me a new room. We felt that if it was in that room, it would be in another room. I checked out, and they didn't offer to give us a refund.
