Perhaps our expectations were a bit high after seeing the 10/10 reviews but unfortunately we found this rental to be less than clean. While the space photographed well, we noticed stains on the couches, linens, and towels. There were splatters and marks on the walls, and the doors were noticeably dirty. Our kids' socks were black from walking on the hardwood floors. Also, the home had an odor that made us double-check whether smoking and pets were allowed. Maybe it's just the age of the home - it's cute and quaint - but the smell was off-putting. If you're sensitive to uncleanliness, you might want to bring your own towels, linens, and some Lysol wipes just in case.
