The AC in our room only worked sporadically so the room got stuffy and humid. We didn't realize it was a problem until we'd already moved in and got ready for bed, so we didn't alert the management until morning.

One night stay place!!!

Free breakfast area was not very clean. Garbage overflowing. Not much food out (example one box of fruit loops in the holder) 2 apples really? Also, tv remote did not work. From the old ages!!! Could not watch tv at night. Outdated to say the least. However, the bed was comfortable. Shuttle to Notre Dame a plus also.

A standard Midwest hotel… not awful just fine. Carpet in our room felt vaguely damp almost like after a carpet cleaning. Location to ND is good… and decent access to interstate. Staff was polite.

Our room smelled terrible when we arrived. Staff seemed inconvenienced when we asked to change rooms. They did switch us to a different room the next day, but we had to wait for the manager. Manager seemed annoyed. New room smelled but not nearly as bad as the first one. The windows did not stay open at all, not Even a little. The air conditioning barely seemed to work in either room, found bugs in the first room. Would not even offer a discount for the first night - I get it was a concert weekend so they raised the room rates, but this was aweful I should have believed all the negative reviews- this doesn’t deserve A rating of 7, more like a 2. Will never stay here again and will be reporting this place to corporate and disputing with my credit card!

Front desk clerk was not around. Had to wait for a while for him. There was a musty smell in the room, only one light worked in the room. All the lamps had the bulbs missing. The floor had a slant in it. Also the continental breakfast was a joke. For the price we paid for the room, I was very disappointed.

dirty and run down

We chose this site because we stayed in a really nice Best Western Plus the night before. But the 2 places were totally different. There were small spots on the carpet and it had not been fully vacuumed. Areas behind furniture looked like they had not been cleaned in months. There was dust on the lamp and clock. Furniture was old with a rip in the chair and wood stripping was torn off the bureau. We could hear people in the room above stomping. Cups and pods were set out for a Keurig, but the piece that holds the pod was torn off. The hotel we stayed in the night before had better breakfast options and was cleaner.

Don’t use the sofa sleeper and avoid the breakfast

We had a king room with a sofa sleeper. Sofa sleeper mattress had a large blood stain on it. There was no bedding in the room for the sofa sleeper. No mattress cover, no fitted sheets, no blankets. The front desk said they didn’t have the bedding fur sofa sleepers but gave us a couple sheets and a blanket. The room itself was nice other than the sofa sleeper issue. It was fairly quiet. The AC was set as low as possible but had trouble cooling the room. It wasn’t unbearable but the only way we could sleep was without the covers on. The worst part was the breakfast. My expectations are generally low for hotel breakfasts but this place was disgusting. We went when the breakfast opened at 6 AM and it was clear they were serving food from at least the day before if not older. The sausage was dried out and hard as a rock. The eggs were these rubbery circles that looked like they belonged on a cheap gas station breakfast sandwich. My wife did enjoy the coffee machine. Overall it’s not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but for the money we paid it should have been a lot better.
