A Cosy Stay in an Authentic Mongolian Yurt!

Our Yurt is a 26 ft-diameter, traditional Mongolian Yurt, made with fabrics and felts that are time-tested for comfort and can weather the elements.

Tucked away in the quiet woods, just 30 minutes from Algonquin Park, Madawaska Yurt offers the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation for you!

Nestled among the trees, our Yurt and property provides both privacy & tranquility, while beautiful furnishings and thoughtful amenities ensure a cozy, comfortable stay.

Open-year-round, we invite you to embrace the outdoors - whether it's fishing, hiking, swimming, snowmobiling - or simply unwind with a drink by the fire!

Our property is conveniently located off a seldom-used highway, and the yurt is tucked at the edge of our woods.

Being the only inhabitable structure on the property, this ensures privacy and quiet, quenching your need to "get away from it all".

ON-SITE COMPLIMENTARY PARKING
The parking available on our property is large enough for two vehicles, and there is space for you to bring your boat or trailer housing your ATVs, PWCs and snowmobiles.

CLOSE TO THE WATER
We are located between two beautiful lakes, both with public dock access.

By car, Cross Lake is 2 minutes away and Bark Lake is 4 minutes away. Bark Lake also has a lovely beach front if you just want to chill out by the water.

The public dock of the Madawaska River is a 12 minute drive. There is also a beach with a children's play area.

This world-renown park is a 30-minute drive from the Yurt! Borrow our Park Pass for your hiking, canoeing, swimming or cross-country skiing adventure!

CLOSE TO ATV, SNOWMOBILE, CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING, BIKING and HIKING TRAILS
Our woods are not available to be explored by guests, however, we are located close to many trails in the area!

The recently-updated South Algonquin Rail Trail crosses a distance of 45 kilometres! The trail is wide (and safe) enough for multiple uses at the same time - at any time of year!

Snowmobiling in the winter months is rampart in the area, and there are a accessible trails near our property!

Together, we'll create a meaningful ceremony, then celebrate with a delicious little cake, bubbly champagne, a charcuterie board, and a romantic nght in the Yurt - just for the two of you.

Cheeky Mama Baking Co. is literally 12 minutes from the Madawaska Yurt - and we operate it! It's a home•based micro•bakery inspected by our local Health Unit ☺️

You will have the option of enjoying freshly-baked treats and snacks, sweet and savoury, during your stay or if you'd like to grab goodies to enjoy during a hike or bring home! If you're celebrating a birthday, we will even bake a cake!


🍇🧀🥖 CHARCUTERIE
We now offer charcuterie boards to our guests - brimming with cured meats, artisanal cheeses, fresh fruits and veggies, premium nuts, our homemade pickled goodies, preserves and flavourful dips.
