Very nice place. It was a shame the pool was not open but it was the shoulder season. Staff were very nice and helpful and breakfast was good. Cleaning of the room very effective. The balcony could use a bit more cleaning of the floor as I tracked dirt in when I used it. When does the pool generally open as I would like to return with my wife when it does?

This property is amazing! It is about a 30 min walk from the "main strip" of Sorrento, but it easily done. You do have to get used to walking on the road with cars/buses going by, but we never once had a close call--no one wants to hit a pedestrian! If you don't want to walk, the bus station is an easy 2 minute walk from the hotel--upon check in, the staff gives you a wonderful map and clear instructions how to get to everything, how to get to the bus, the ruins, the grocery store. You can buy tickets on the bus or at the grocery store. The grocery store sells amazing sandwiches as well as snacks. Note: the store was closed on Saturday/Sunday when we were there. The hotel has fantastic views and a pool we didn't end up using, but sat by it--very clean and looked fun for the people using it. In the room, the beds were very comfortable, firm, but not hard. We asked for extra pillows and received them. There were USB outlets, so we didn't need to use our international converter, but if we did, they had the 2 prong outlets. There was also a mini fridge that was great to use during our stay. The WiFi was great and only was spotty during a thunder storm. I would stay again at Hotel Dania and would recommend anyone to stay there! The staff are amazing!

Hotel is a bit far from Sorrento, you need a local bus to get there or a taxi. Buses are never on time and don't always stop at your stop ! Walking on the road is very risky, as there is no pavement. There are no proper shops or restaurants near the hotel either. One of the nights hotel restaurant had no chef so i was a bit stuck for food. Luckily, Chandima who works at the restaurant, made me a couple cheese toasts. Thank you Chandima.

The hotel is safe and quiet but off from the city. You can walk it or run. Bus transportation most of the time. Beach is easily accessible, so is a tiny grocery store for water. The shower door kept coming off the hinges and hard to put back on. TV and table are very small. Staff is helpful, and sitting at the veranda watching the sunset was quite relaxing. Nice view of the ocean and the hillside.

The view from the hotel is amazing overlooks the sea and olive and lemon trees. Staff were very helpful. I want to especially mention Monica who helped us find a car to the airport last minute when ours didn't show up. She went above and beyond calling multiple people. Room was spacious, walk to the center square wasn't too bad, catching the bus was easy as well.

The hotel and staff were great. Helpful to arrange reservations and provide recommendations. Hotel is reachable by a 15 min bus ride from the Sorento train station. There are two beaches nearby, one with Roman ruins.
