Stayed in 6 places in Italy at a similar price point and this was greatly overpriced. Similar to an Airbnb as front desk rarely occupied so contact by text though they did answer promptly and some issues were not resolved until the following day. Pleasant manager. Our half used water bottle was put back in fridge instead of replenishing with a new bottle. Bathroom sink doesn’t drain. Only one Powdered coffee provided for the two of us. Coffee spoon left dirty and not cleaned from the day before. Does have a large balcony. Ran out of toilet paper on two occasions. Did not even replace the used paper cups in the bathroom. Mirrors not clean. No towels given on one day. Ironing board but no iron. Location good near a grocery store. Dark, quiet. Plug in for phone in bed frame didn’t work needed to ask for an extension cord to run across room.

Great location and Michele is a star!

Our stay here was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable for our 4 nights exploring the Amalfi Coast. It is in a GREAT location (3 minute walk from the train station, accessible to the main area you want to explore in Sorrento, yet tucked away in a quiet space). You wont get the posh, waterview experience here, but I honestly tthink this is way better...you can see all those views all day and when at restaurants. The savings from staying here well make up for conceeding that. On top of the room and hotel being ideal, Michele (the manager) is a truly genuinely kind man. I had to go to the emergency room and he was checking in with us/helping my husband throughout our stay. He also gave us great recommendations for food, tours, transportation, etc when we were out. You will be in excellent hands at Hotel Diamond and with Michele!

Michele was such a great host. The location was amazing! So close to the train, the marina, the shopping and dining! Our room was clean and very nice with plenty of closet space. Can’t wait to stay again. Bonus we could see the fireworks from our balcony.

⚠️ Be very careful with this place. It is not safe

⭐ Terrible experience at Hotel Diamond ⭐ My stay at this hotel was disappointing. I was a victim of a sneaky theft, and $100 was stolen from my safe. I had left an envelope with several bills as a test, and unfortunately, they took my $100. The worst part? When I reported it, the manager Michelle did nothing and completely dismissed my complaint. While filing a police report wasn’t worth it for the amount, it’s unacceptable that theft happens inside this hotel. ⚠️ Be very careful with this place. It is not safe.

Location, location, location

Amazing! Michele was immensely helpful. Clean, quiet and in a great location. I would say here again in a heartbeat. There is even a multi-jet shower with music.

Lovely small hotel in great location off main street. Very near station if want to visit Pompeii, Naples etc. Safe, quiet, lovely view from balcony. Great comms with Michele, he made us feel very welcome. Perfect for a trip to Sorrento
