We absolutely loved our stay in Sonoma! The house is perfect for a big group and the backyard is incredible! Great amount of space for 10 people and it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other at all.

Gr8 5BR property at high quality location in Sonoma, quality furnishings and over the top outdoor space: pool, chaise lounges, seating areas, fire pit, decks, bar, fire pit, grassy area too, surrounded by trees for ambiance. One problem, WiFi sign ons don't work reliably and once signed in, it kicks users off. Might as well not have WiFi.

An 80th birthday celebration none of us will forget!

The Marquee lived up to it's pictures and description! The estate is beautifully maintained...inside and out. We had all the amenities, especially in the kitchen, that we needed to pull off a spectacular 80th birthday dinner for the 10 of us! Thank you for allowing us to stay at this gorgeous home.

Relaxing outdoor entertaining

The property did not disappoint. We were a group of 7 and had plenty of room to gather, relax and celebrate. The backyard is beautiful and the location is central to wine tasting and restaurants. We would return.

Beautiful Property

We came to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday with her friends. The house is spacious and so comfortable. The back area layout is wonderful and we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. I would stay here again if in Sonoma with a group.

Great Family Gathering

Great house, such good flow between indoor-outdoor space for family gatherings, the outdoor space is like being at a high end resort, and indoor area has everything you need but also isn't too precious (no white couches to worry about) so you its very relaxed and livable. My daughter asked if we could move there as we left! Definitely recommend it.

Fabulous property

We had a family of 8 staying here over the holidays and loved our time here. The proerty is laid out beautifully to maximize enjoyment for everyone. Kitchen well stocked and easy to cook and prepare meals for a group. Will come again!

Perfect in every way

We rented the Marquee for a weekend with our closest and dearest friends. The property exceeded expectations across the board. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature and the outdoor seating worked great for our dinner. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking in the Sonoma area.

Incredible backyard space

We came here for four nights following my daughters wedding in Pebble Beach. We wanted to relax and unwind and it was perfect for that! The backyard space is beyond words. The hot tub was bubbling the entire time and we used it morning, noon and night. I'd love to talk about the downtown and wineries but I barely left that backyard!

Poolside pleasure!

Clean, comfortable. Well stocked. Outdoor and pool area were great! Games, jacuzzi, beautiful pool, numerous seating areas, fire pit, nice lighting. Beds a little hard and pillows were lumpy. Well stocked kitchen, great gas stove, comfortable living area. Two large eating areas. Good location for day trips. Quiet neighborhood.

5-star resort feel

This house is perfectly set up for 3-4 couples to have their own space, while coming together in a large common space. The outdoor deck / pool / hot tub area has a 5-star resort feel. Just an amazing property in a great location just outside of Napa. Can't wait to stay again!

Great house with amazing outdoors

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here! Our schedule was pretty packed with wine tastings but we still got a chance to enjoy the remarkable beautiful outdoor space. My only critique is that I did not see anything on the original listing about being charged for pool heating. In the end, though I paid for this, the heating did not end up working (or maybe was never turned on). However, I wrote to AvantStay and they immediately refunded the heating fee, so no harm no foul! We would definitely stay here again and/or another AvantStay property!

great property

- Management is almost as good as hotel service. They provided cute caps, home scent, cookies, bottle of wine. - Josh, my point of contact was really polite, friendly, and helpful. He even offered to drive out to help when I had concerns. - Property is newly remodeled, the backyard landscaping was on point. Pool equipment was top of the line. We paid extra to heat the pool and it was well worth it. - Art work in the home is very tasteful, furniture and bedding are all in great shape. The large custom dining table was awesome for a big family dinner. - Our family is frequent visitors of Carneros Inn and Calistoga Ranch in the area but we decided against hotel stays this time due to COVID. The backyard was so tranquil and relaxing that the experience was similar. - They provide firewood for the fireplace in the living room, a great way to end the evening.
