The property is located in a less crowded area in Snowshoe so it's much quieter. There is also a tennis court in a complex nearby which we used every day. It's an old property but maintained well and very clean. The kitchen was stocked reasonably well with good cooking ware, allowing us to make all the meals at home. There is no air conditioning in the unit. Apparently all the Powderidge units do not have and likely there is no need given the temperature is very comfortable in the evening. There are hardly any cell signals for our phones on the mountain. Luckily the wifi in the unit is decent and my husband can get some work done as needed. The Guidebook provided by the owner/management team was very helpful. It contains all the information and tips we need during the stay. We enjoyed our stay!
