We stayed here the week we were getting married in Valletta. Initial impressions of the room were that it was a little tired and a small shower over the bath seemed inadequate. However, it proved to be both a very powerful shower and comfortable room. The view over to Valletta is spectacular and the quality of the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The highlight was the staff, who were always friendly and on hand to answer any queries or solve any problems. They helped make us feel special on the wedding day and throughout the week. Having stayed in other hotels in Sliema previously, we had not eaten in the OPA! restaurant downstairs but it is one of the best we have found locally and the 10% discount for residents is most welcome. I can highly recommend staying here, judged by the fact that we have already booked to return for our first wedding anniversary.

Didn't have breakfast at the hotel..we did wake up early one morning to no cold water ,which turned out to effect the whole hotel..This caused inconvenience as we couldn't carry out ablutions or showering until later in the day.. Apart from this,we would return to the hotel again ...

The hotel was tired and some areas needed attention. The room was also tired especially the bathroom. They did offer to change our room but we didn’t want to repack and unpack. The room was a decent size,beds were comfortable. We didn’t have a room with a view but some rooms looked over the bay and Valletta. It was in a good position for ferry to Valletta and for restaurants. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The uber/bolt taxi is a reasonable price from and to the airport. The hotel is basic but comfortable

Location 5-5+, service 4+, conditions of the hotel, 3. Very good location by the Ferry, lots of restaurants, food and drink options, service is also pretty good, breakfast at the top floor is a plus, only the facilities of the hotel is old, elevators are small and slow, but over all, I am happy about my stay.

My room smelled funny (like musty/moldy). The shower head makes the floor of the bathroom flood easily. The elevator almost never worked efficiently. The best part of this stay was breakfast and the breakfast crew. I would stay here again, but only with more options.

The location for transport, shopping and things to do was perfect. Beyond the front reception area the hotel itself was rather mediocre, but staff did their utmost to look after guests and the room was clean - although the bath had seen much better days. Decor in corridors and parts of the bedroom was shabby but overall the experience was a positive one.

A nice hotel, situated in a busy area with great restaurants. Room and elevator were small but clean and very functional. Staff processed check-in and check-out promptly. Decor was modern and tasteful. A little surprised that they are still using physical keys and not access cards but this was not an issue for me.

This is a clearly dated hotel with many updates needed to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are very tiny and in need of new paint updated flooring and elevator.

Horrible single rooms! Manager too

I booked a single room. I discover all single bed rooms overlook a shaft service; some of their opaque windows are screwed in; you only breathe you own air through the air conditioning. I tried the 504, 203 and 304. All cheap tasteless and pitiful looking rooms, patched up with poor painting, awful caulking job, no soundproof at all. The manager Sofiane said "you get what you paid for. I am not upgrading your room". I never asked for one but this guy should travel more and get some education. Mal educato. Special thanks though to Jonathan, Sushma and Siena.

Great spot

This hotel is just where all tourists go to pick up any Harbour cruises, sightseeing bus, Valletta and Gozo bus and much more. It's in the middle of all restaurants of all budgets. Very helpful, sweet and courteous staff. Unfortunately, my single bed room did not have a sea view. Some next door guests were very noisy low class people. The hotel accepted to keep my luggage for 1 week; who could ask for anything more. Thank you.

Do not book here if you want to sleep peacefully. This hotel allows groups to stay. These are large groups of students who want to stay up all night playing loud music, shouting, screaming, laughing and doing what students do until 6am. On the 1st night I complained to the manager who assured me he spoke to them and it would't happen again. The same thing happened the next night. Completely spoilt my holiday and all I got was an insincere sorry. I can't possibly recommend. Plus the lifts are tiny, old, shaky and feel as if you might get stuck any minute. The breakfast area is on the top floor so unless you love stairs you would have to use them. Phone didn't work in room. Old bathroom.
