My husband and I took our two boys (ages 7 & 5) to Walden’s Wonder and we had a great stay. The hot tub was perfect and the cornhole and swings right by it was nice. We were able to relax while the boys played. The cabin felt homey, clean and a place that we loved spending some down time at. We’re already looking into another short getaway staying there.

It was close to the wedding venue. The kitchen accommodations met our needs for cooking & meal prep. We did not use hot tub but grill was handy. Rooms comfortable for sitting, sleeping.

My husband and I needed this cabin stay so much! It was super clean, so cute, beyond comfortable, and all around gorgeous to stay at. This is an amazing place to stay for anyone to have a getaway or reconnect, any reason really. Extremely happy does not begin to describe how grateful I am to have had the chance to stay here.

This cabin was perfect! We found it very clean, and the decor was awesome! Everything was furnished that we needed to have a great stay. It is in a very quiet area. We enjoyed the porch, the view and all the comforts of home. The host was great, and we will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Beautiful setting and well-appointed cabin. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings to enjoy the view. 4-wheel drive is helpful on the gravel road. Make sure you don’t go down the road past the cabin - the hill is steep and very difficult to get back up!

Beautiful and peaceful

We had a wonderful weekend ! The cabin had everything we needed. Very clean and is just as advertised. Check in and check out process was seamless and communication with owner was prompt. Beautiful setting ! We would definitely stay again !!

Spent two nights. First time visit to RRG. Great location. Great house. Perfect for two couples. Hot tub was awesome after hiking all day. Would recommend and stay again.

Is a beautiful place inside and out

We enjoyed every inch of that place. Unfortunately, didn't have time for the hot tub but we went sightseeing the whole time we were there. will definitely book with them again. A real gem!

Comfortable Cabin in Red River Gorge

The property is clean, comfortable and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Deck was spacious and welcoming. Would stay here again. We enjoyed our stay here. Although, the cabin could use a hair dryer. Other than that everything we needed was right there.

Nice place but had issues

We really liked the layout and amenities of the house and property. At one point we lost power, then we did not have water pressure and one AC unit was out. But the property management was quick to respond and resolve. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Great getaway!

We had a lovely time in this home. The accommodations were great and in line with the listing. It was cold and rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor space (fire pit, swings, etc), but we did use the hot tub. The location was convenient to Miguel's and several hikes. We would come back!

Really enjoyed our stay

Nice secluded property that is a wedding/event venue with a few other houses and buildings, all spread out and this house is away from all other buildings. House is well equipped with a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor swings, etc. couldn’t figure out the outdoor TV. Place is clean and well maintained. Good communication. Thanks!

Location, location, location…

Not only is this place like a luxurious little spa nestled amongst the Appalachian foothills, it’s so centrally located to all of the RRG hot-spots. Koomer Ridge, Natural Bridge, Zipline tours, SUP adventures, Miguel’s. The fire pit at night. The post hike hot tub soaks, the wild turkey and bobcats passing through. It was all fantastic and exactly what we needed. Thank you.

Road bike is a maybe.

The property was amazing with great views. For future readers, we could not ride our street bikes back to it, so had trailer to local gas station. The owners were completely honest about it being a 50/50 shot. The local people are amazing and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend this property for hikers, off road vehicles, adventure bikers, and anyone wanting back country serenity.

Private getaway

Home interior was as described. Ice maker did not work, curtains are too small for living room sliding doors & outdoor area has decreased in size dramatically. All three issues were mentioned in previous reviews. Ice & curtains were easy enough to deal with. I really wish outdoor photos were updated.

Lovely accommodations

Very comfortable and generous sized bedrooms and baths. The living area dining and kitchen all very nice. Decor beautiful. The view is lovely. There is a dead tree in the view that we imagine will be hard to remove. Thankfully the way into and out the property has been improved to avoid the "tow truck" hill. I had no trouble in a rear wheel drive sedan. There were warnings about limited available water. For our 2 nights with a max of 5 adults, we had no problems w water. We didn't use the washer, dish washer, and limited number of showers. With more people staying longer there might be a problem? I think the owners have done a great job of including lots to make the stay very nice. Including-We used the hot tub which was great. Due to rain we didn't use the fire pit and be aware there were only 3 pieces of wood. No kindling etc. Movie screen and speakers on the lower outdoor level. You need filters if you make ground drip coffee. You can also do Keurig. We didn't use the grill. First night 2 people slept on the pullout sofa and said it was okay. We would stay here again, but limit to 4 adults and 2 children on the sofa bed.
