Great value for what you’re paying, lovely clean room with a great view and good amount of amenities. Good AC, never felt too hot at night and the beds were super comfortable! Only thing is bathroom light wouldn’t turn on or would flicker a bit but that wasn’t really a problem.

It was further from the airport bus than expected. But it wasn’t very far from the town activity. On arrival late we were met kindly. The property was hard to find and satnav wasn’t very helpful. We were on the top floor which was hard with our bags and sea view was a bit of an exaggeration. The room was basic and fine for one night.

The owner is a great lady, she is very kind and helpful. The location of these studios is great. The thing is if you are willing to sleep in uncomfortable beds, pay an average price per night, no luxury whatsoever this is for you.

Sorry, but this hotel was shambolic. The balcony was nice and had a nice and certainly view over Skiathos but everything else was derelict. Usually I appreciate that one gets what one pays for, but what I was charged by Expedia for this derelict and rather dirty property was outrageous. Some may appreciate the noisy neighborhood as authentic but in my case it just added to the disappointment.

I had a great stay at this property and really enjoyed my time there. It’s in a really good location, only minutes from the main street, the owner Rania (hopefully spelt correctly) is really friendly and helpful, the aircon worked brilliantly, the balconies are a great size, and most have open views of the town and mountains. I’d certainly stay again! The downsides are that it isn’t super modern, can be noisy at times, and the Wi-Fi was poor.

Mimoza is a 5-10 minute walk from Skiathos Town Port. Rooms face the back of Skiathos with view of houses, mountains, and sea in very far distance from the upper floors. Piping hot water, free air-con, a kitchenette for a very light snack or hot drink, bathroom with shower and WC. Similar to other studios in Skiathos Town. What makes Mimoza special is Rania. She has a heart of gold. So kind and friendly and warm hearted. You feel very welcome. On the day of departure she offered to take me to the Airport. An absolute gem.

Clean but derelict

Mimoza studios is not really in the best part of town. It's not dangerous - I doubt anywhere on the island is, but it's just a little derelict as is the 'hotel'. We needed a place to crash for the night as we had to be up at 4am for an early flight and wanted somewhere close to the port and close to the airport. The owner offered us a ride to the airport but then changed her mind saying that it was too early for her to start her day - nothing wrong with that except that the taxi she arranged ended up costing us Eur 13 for a 2km trip. The place is clean but very very very out of date.

Pleasant and convenient

This was a comfortable, simple, ground floor studio apartment, an easy 10 minute walk into town center. Our host was friendly and very responsive if we needed anything. The air conditioning was a great comfort on a hot day and we had a shaded outdoor area. It was a good value for a simple accommodation.
