Really enjoyed our stay here. We were three friends travelling and had booked a family room. Property upgraded us to a room with four beds . Was awesome. Dinner required reservations or notice prior but we used nearby cafe for one night. Great breakfast included . Location was good for Vatnajokull visit and Diamon Beach.

Small basic rooms which were very comfortable. Ours looked out on the snow capped mountains. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Best part was the trail access from behind the hotel to the glaciers, lakes, waterfalls and wildflowers within walking distance. Loved the location!!!

Breafast menu was fine, but would have like to have seen some dried fruit options as well as better toasters for bread. The rooms were nice and spacious, beds comfortable for a great night's rest, and the bathroom was a better size than most we experienced so you didn't feel like you had to turn in place to move around.

It’s a great place to stay if you are looking for a small hike for an up close glacier view in the morning which is right behind the hotel. Breakfast is included which is great. They should definitely improve on the overall hygiene and room space.
