Nice hotel, stayed before covid. They had a refurbishment but still saw a lot of things that need doing for safety loke by the roof pool, flooring bowed and a strip hazard. Only thing about rooms they need usb ports to charge phones.

There is a wonderful front office staff called Aladdin. Aladdin was very helpful, he explained very clearly how to get around the area for shopping malls, meals, taxi service etc. Aladdin is what a front office staff makes any hotel a perfect place to stay in. I wish there were more Aladdins in front office position in other parts of the world. The airport shuttle was very good and quite easy to find. The rooms were clean and the overall staff were very helpful and friendly.

Everything was perfect. Approx 30 min taxi ride from the airport to the hotel. We landed after 1am but I advised the hotel and they replied and made note of my later (early) arrival. Surrounding area has many options for Chinese food (including one that had some American options that some of my family enjoyed), drinks and a little 7-11 that’s about a short 5 min walk, but a lot to see on your way there.

The stay is the worst of my previous stays in the same hotel. I am very disappointed with the lack of prompt service when the TV signal was down. There is no information sheet inside the room for me to call the front desk or housekeeping to report the fault. I have to randomly called different numbers and finally got to speak to someone at the front desk. I waited for 45mins in the room, but no one turned up. Thereafter, after repeated calls to '0' that rang many times without any answer, that a technician finally arrived at the room to fix the TV signal. No word of apology was even given by any staff member at all for the inconvenience caused that dampen by stay.
