Given cool refreshing water on arrival which was welcome. Shelley at reception is to be commended for fantastic help with a lost bag. Really appreciated the kind assistance provided to have it recovered. Thank you! Rooms are small, but that was known going in, adequate for a short stay, Blockout blind makes the room nice and dark for sleeping and rooms were quiet too. The pool is good, but could do with a few more benches. Location is excellent for sightseeing and getting around on foot or by train in Singapore.

Incompetent hospitality, staff failed to manage crowd control and were understaffed (constantly busy checking people in) and overstaffed (staff standing around doing nothing). 3m old hotel, so many flaws....broken lift panels, so many scuffs and dirty belonging, bear the poor drainage snd broken toilet seat. Its in cbd area but during my stay there were 3 groups of primary school tour groups and the kids were disgusting at breakfast, running around the tight space creating havoc and shoving their hands and noses into the breakfast buffet food. Pool is officially open til9pm but technically til lighhts off which is 10.30. Also lies, hotel is not directly linked to the mrt...if it was then its also "directly"linked to the airport

The location of this property is amazing - it’s close to 3 separate mrts, hawker centres and Chinatown and is also an easy walk to Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Merlion Park and the Helix Bridge, should you enjoy walking. Unfortunately though, the hotel has a lot of issues that need resolving. The breakfast room was incredibly crowded, the pool is great but there are no where near enough day beds for a hotel this size, calling reception generally led to an unanswered phone, the bathroom is so tiny. I was a solo traveller in a Queen balcony room - the balcony only had enough seating for one, the room itself was fine although on the small side. Primary school aged children from China were staying in multiple rooms on my floor on some kind of a camp, they were very noisy in both the morning and late evening (talking, laughing, knocking on one a other’s doors - not actually misbehaving, but far too loud for a hotel where others are holidaying); I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or not, but if so, be aware that it can be annoying and that the teacher did not seem to be roomed beside the children. I stayed for 9 nights and would go back due to the location, but I would be asking about school camps at the time of booking and request to be well away from them. If you are someone who stays in your room a lot, double check that the room dimensions will suit you. If you cannot lift your suitcase easily. I’d look elsewhere as the only place to comfortably open it is on the bed.

Near mrt and bus stops. Great hawker market up the road. Faiy central to all. Fair price. Breakfast looked amzing, BUT!! very expensive for nothing if you have any kind of allergies or intolerants, a distinct lake of empathy or assistance provided.bedding and towels fresh every day, but cleaning didnt happen the whole 8 days. Maybe teething problems because its new? A fair disappointment as an accor member though!

Great location but Deluxe room for 3 adults and child is unbelievably small - no way to move for 2 people in the same time. Sink is in the room. All looks like Motel, which is ok, but not for this price. It was absolutely no space to put 2 suitcases in the room.

Very convenient
This hotel is just a few steps away from the Telok Ayer DTL MRT station. So we had easy access to all major city attractions. 1km away (or so) from Clarke Quay and Chinatown by foot. Breakfast is okay. Pool is nice. Regular room is a little small, and so is the bathroom; just enough space to move around. So if you have luggages/bags more than 2, you might want to consider getting a bigger room. Wifi speed is great. Overall, this hotel is very convenient, neat and highly recommendable.

Great location and very convenient for the MRT station, Chinatown, restaurants and a reasonable very pleasant stroll, given the humidity, to the Marina Bay area and the amazing Gardens on the Bay. The only gripe is the size of the rooms - they are really small. You will be living out of your suitcase as there is nowhere really to unpack your clothes. Bathroom/shower equally tiny. On the other hand, the pool is huge and a welcome option after a day of humid site seeing. Other than room size, a real nice place to stay with very friendly and welcoming staff.

Didn’t have good sleep due to the air-conditioning. The air cone is very erratic , temperature cannot be controlled easily. We have trouble adjusting the aircon resulting in sleepless nights…. Either too hot or too cold. Try to call for help by pressing’0’ for operator but duty officer can’t be reached.

The location and the staff of the mercure are excellent The room was clean and had everything we needed however it was very small especially the bathroome lucky we are not big people so it was okay We had a room on the 2nd level which had a door leading out into the courtyard so would have been nice with some chairs outside otherwise the hotel is in a great location the staff are very helpful the pool is awesome a few more pool chairs would be good. The french restaurant on the corner was amazing and Chinatown markets across the street also MRT

It was not so good. Room allocated needs to be changed three times. As earlier rooms were not ready to use. Noone pick up the call at reception. Once you are in the hotel nobody listen to you.
