Great location

The hotel is in a great location and walking distance to a number of the major tourist destinations, and has an MRT station on the doorstep. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The building is historic and very interesting. The only downside for us was the number of levels (a.k.a. steps) in the building as we are an older couple.

A great hotel convenient for getting around. Very busy at lunchtimes & evenings. Breakfast food quality good, however if you want anything extra, eg cheese in the plain omelette , it would incur extra charge! Really! Bearing in mind they offer smoked salmon omelette inclusive at breakfast, I thought this was very mean. Other than that, couldn't fault the hotel

I only stayed overnight and didn't have much time to explore the facilities but would stay there again. Right next to an MRT Station. Easy to get to and from Changi airport and all around the city by underground (MRT).

The staff is a 10! Everyone very appreciative, attentive and courteous. Well done! Rome 308, however, was like sitting on a nightclub speaker until after 3am. The staff did move me to other side of the hotel for the remainder of my stay, but an entire night of not sleeping made this stay less than ideal. Staff - amazing First room - zero atars

Kudos to the excellent service level of the staff. Their hospitality makes one feel very welcome and comfortable. It should be noted that the property is integrated into an old Chinese building. The resulting inclined slopes and stairs within the walkway suggest that it may not be so suitable for elderly. Additionally, my room faced a nightlife area and the noise may impact more sensitive guests. Nevertheless, the service level of the staff was enough for me to still consider it an incredible stay.

This place is special. Being attached to an authentic heritage Chinese temple and with charming artifacts, this site is unique. Great location, good value

I stayed here for a few days for a conference and wanted something central but easy to get around. The hotel is close to Telok Ayer and Raffles Place MRT stations. There are lots of eating and drinking options around - Lau Pa Sat food court is only a couple of blocks away. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in a cafe behind the hotel, that offers several good options. The decor is a mix of traditional and modern. Room was small but well laid out, modern and clean.
