Lovely staff and clean establishment. It is conveniently located a lot of places. We walked to get to a lot of places and took a cab once, besides to and from the airport. It was great to be closely located to the marina for day trips. The steakhouse restaurant is a good place to eat as well as La Patrona. The spa is worth a visit as well

Amazing hotel, but house keeping is a little lacking. Always short on towels and sometime miss cleaning certain areas. And when you call the front desk, you may not always get what you requested until the next day.

The property advertisement is not accurate. They advertise 5 restaurants with two serving breakfast. The breakfast package only allowed guest to eat at only one of the restaurants, which was not disclosed. Local calls are charged to the room, there was no notice posted in the room or when checked in. There was no activities. On the activity list they posted a beach party which never took place. The resort had no island vibe at all to make you feel like I’m on vacation on an island. We had a kitchen which was not utilized completely because the closest store to get food items either didn’t have any fresh choices and was over priced. Resort should list places to purchase food in their welcome package. If I visit Saint Martin again I will not stay at Simpson Bay, it’s a one and done resort. There was a robbery at the jewelry store and no guest was notified that the lobby and Britt coffee shop was closed. My family and I was not impressed. The staff, Sylvan,Max,Rosemarie,Edwin,David, and a few others makes the place. I would return just to chat with them again.

The property is well maintained, clean and safe. Its a lot bigger than I expected. There are shuttle buses that will pick you up of needed. I would definitely come back.
