Excellent stay, will go there again

The hotel is in a great location, near rail and bus stations. The room was spacious and had hairdryer, iron, ironing board, fan etc. The toiletries provided were lovely. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was right next to the railway station. The staff were very professional and personable, the breakfast was good. The room was large but hot, stuffy and a little dusty.

Beautiful clean and friendly staff

Lovely hotel with friendly staff , the first thing that I noticed was the entrance looking down , it looked amazingly clean and welcoming. The lift was on the left side soon as you walk in which makes it easier to locate , our room was clean and has comfortable beds and was very roomy , the bathroom was spacious and clean , the staff that clean the rooms do an amazing job , we had a lovely stay and will definitely stay again .

Building work outside the hotel which started at 7.45am on Friday and woke us up. Lots of builders staying at the hotel so from 6am, doors slamming as they got up. They really should have told us about this. Not a good nights sleep at all

The property was of good standing , of course could do with a few upgrades ( painting etc) but couldn't fault the staff, always helpful , like to have a bit more say in the temp of the room , too hot for us , but that's a moot point . All in all a good place to stay

The hotel could certainly do with an update. One of the handles in the bath was loose and would have come off if i had used it to get out of the bath. The seal around the bath looked like it had been put on with a trowel and wasn't very clean. There was no cover on the back of the remote control and the batteries kept falling out.
