Enjoy hiking, mountaineering, climbing, fishing, swimming, rafting, stand-up paddling, kayaking and skiing. The possibilities are endless. Hikes to the peaks of Høgevarde, Storleinåsen, Ravnås and Maureliåsen are particularly recommended. The hike to the statue of the Madonna at an altitude of 1,020 meters in the middle of the beautiful landscape of Norefjell is also very popular and was voted Norway's best hiking route in 2018. The six-kilometre route through the mountain landscape is suitable for young and old. The Trillemarka-Rollagsfjell nature reserve and the bear park with bears, moose, lynx and exotic animals are also great excursion destinations. In winter, Norefjell is transformed into a snow paradise with 4 lifts and 31 slopes. The town of Noresund and a sandy beach are only a short drive away.
