Main building is nice, but on inside doesn’t give any Spanish vibe, for whatever reason they went for Indian temple decor. We stayed in “villa” and the room was extremely basic, definitely not even 4 stars, at most 3ish. Finally our room was advertised as “mountain view”, and all we had was the view of bushes on one side and parking lot on the other. With all that said, Boltana is a beautiful little town.

great stay food let it down

lovely hotel & staff - deluxe room standard size but quite classy. Would have rated it higher but the food was disappointing, ordered filleted turbot at 20 euros but came was actually bone with a bit of fish attached.

Modern Spa in former Monastery

Very modern spa hotel built inside old monastery with beautiful scenery. Everything you could want for from spa to quiet sitting area and comfortable bar. Up to date room with complete bathroom with shower and bathtub. Excellent breakfast buffet with everything you could want.

The building is historic and unique. Next to the river and mountain side. The common areas are very well decorated and Cousy. The rooms are not as appealing as the rest of the property.
