Great beach break
We had a lovely time in Port Stephens, so much to do with the kids. Was grateful for a dog friendly house. No dishwasher and BYO linen and towels made it a bit more effort than other stays, but the fact we could stroll to the beach with the dogs every morning and grab a coffee on the way back from the Country Club was great. And walk out to several nice dinner options. There are a few more isolated beaches you can walk to from the house which are beautiful but not for dogs.

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids and stayed in this property for 4 nights. The location is excellent with few minutes walk to both a wave-beach and a non-wave-beach. The property is well maintained, reverse cycle air conditioner in the dining room works well and there are pedestal fans in the rooms. Some books and toys are available for kids and we had our own towels, bed sheets, and pillowcases. I did not give a full 5 rating because of the following minor comments: cockroaches inside the property, unavailability of medium/ large pots and non-stick pots / pans, no dishwasher.
