Almost perfect...

Nice hotel overall, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired - the only option at the hotel was to literally book McDonald's breakfast and it would be delivered in the morning. Yuck! Also, the beds were a bit too firm for me.

the carpet was dirty, the bed was as hard as a board, the toilet seat needed replacing, the a/c was noisy and didn't work properly, there was only Chinese food for breakfast and no one understood English which made it difficult although they were nice to us

Good hotel but showing signs of age

I like the location of this hotel. The size of the room was good and generally very confortable. However, the hotel is showing sign of age, and needs better maintenace and cleaning. Molds were showing in the shower and the sink. Walls had signs of water damages.

Really average. Next to the sub and to a big mall which is convenient. However ,cleaning needs to be improved. Our room was smelling cold smoke when it was a non smoking room. The furniture looks old and we had view on the empty swimming pool (bouh!) You flood the bathroom when you shower and the best (i mean worse, sense the tone) was the complimentary products were half used.

this hotel has gone downhill. the original shanghai restaurant downstairs has moved. the room has a 10 year old TV. the wifi was so weak I had to call the IT guy to get me a second modem. Though the location is decent, I probably won't stay again..

Excellent Business Hotel

I always stay at the New Times. It's just a three-min taxi drive to the train station to Hong Kong and a two-min walk to a luxurious mall. Near one main highway to the airport, seaport and main industrial areas. Many restaurants and fast food places around.

Great Location! Nice Hotel

The titles says it all. Conveniently located blocks from the Luohu Commercial Center, the King Glory Plaza and the MixC; all walking distance or very short cab rides to and from. The exterior and the main lobby are very simple but don't judge the rooms by them - my room was clean and just as nice as some of the bigger name hotels I usually stay at. I asked a room facing away from the street and it was very quiet. The amenities included everything you would expect from a hotel - just read the signs (English included) because some will incur a charge if you use them. One thing - the bed was very firm - and I prefer firm so I slept well. It was firmer than a memory foam mattress. Overall impression - I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I would stay here again. I forgot to mention, staff does speak limited English.
