Enjoyed our stay at Shelton Inn immensely. So nice that a motel in the "old" style can be updated to fit the needs of today. Shelton Inn provides for the basics of an overnight stay (or two or three) in simple elegance. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The town/city of Shelton is nicely located to provide access to all that the peninsula has to offer. I would recommend the Shelton Inn to anyone and if in the area again it would be a very short search for a great place to stay.

Clean and friendly

A fight broke out in the parking lot during the night, a domestic dispute so no fault of the establishment. I can see where they are working at cleaning the place up and giving it some homey effects. For example our room had a record player and a few records which was a pleasant surprise.

The front office was a cluttered mess when we checked in. You could tell the owners had tried to update the rooms. Overall it wasn’t a bad update except the bathroom ceiling fan was open (no fan cover) so you could see above the ceiling, the handles to the shower/tub were mismatched and didn’t fit, the curtains were too small for the window so they didn’t completely cover the window making privacy impossible. The place is fine if you just need a place to lay your head for a night, but I wouldn’t stay there for an extended stay.

Remodeled rooms so what you see in the photos is actual rooms at the property. Stairs to second floor could use some repairs - the metal to hold the carpet down was coming off. The restaurant Blondies attached to the hotel had great breakfast and nice friendly staff

The motel was in downtown Shelton, so very convenient. The rooms were in partial upgrade mode. The stairs to the upper floor where we were located needed repair/replacement of the carpet as the top step carpet was taped down with frayed duct tape. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They don't have a complimentary breakfast, but have a nice cafe that is attached to the motel. We would probably stay there again if the outdoor maintenance to the stairs, etc.was completed.
