Softball tourney.

We stayed for a softball tourney. Loved the facility. The smoke smell is terrible in the casino part. That can’t be helped I guess.

We came on vacation and from another hotel, so we did have some food with us. However there was no microwave to prepare that food. It all had to be thrown out.. The gorgeous pool, I saw pictures online for was CLOSED! I did play in a casino for the first time and i actually forgot my ID at the cash-in counter. Good thing i noticed was gone and called the Lost and Found. They had it safely put away and I was able to pick it up before we left town. They gave me a hard time about it haha. I would have too. It was definitely beautiful overall!!

Very clean. A little dark in decor but clean and comfortable even during the severe storms. Electricity went off a few times but in less than a minute was on again. Visited the casino and the young man at the players center was so nice as was Tyler in the sports cafe. Food was very good and filling. Will return again.

In the first room assigned, the AC was intolerably loud. Went to the desk. Staff made the offer to send maintenance or move to another room. We chose to move. The next room was good.

The hotel is very well maintained. The Grand Cafe was great for breakfast and lunch. The casino was boring. The energy was low. Maybe I’m used to Atlantic City but they could use some entertainment possibly to get people to feel a little better when losing their money. The pool was closed for the season so that was a bummer . But I bet it’s fun in the summer! Overall I’d give it 4 stars !

Check in was at 3:00. We arrived a little early and they said the rooms would be ready shortly. Waited patiently, and returned to the counter after 3:00 rooms were not ready. Went back at 3:30, not ready, 4:00 not ready. Had to leave for an event. Called back and the rooms were ready at 5:30.

We arrived at the property to check in at 3:15pm and they said they wouldn’t have a room ready for 20-25 minutes. They had a bunch of people in the lobby waiting for rooms. They said the reason was because they had late check outs and understaffed. I paid for a room that said check in was 3pm. If the roles were reversed and it was me saying I wasn’t checking out on time, I would probably be charged for late check out.
